Thank you very much to those who have invited me to be their friend, but I am declining them all.
On principle, I detest this forum turning into a meglomaniacal borefest like myspace with "friends" and "non-friends". I'm a slut and open to anything from anyone.
It's all just too rah rah for me.
Actually, the only friend I want is Valentino Rossi, Mr Reds himself. The rest of you can sod off!
And I mean that in the nicest...

Me going to PI as a volunteer official... letter arrived in the post today... oh yeah, oh yeah!
Never been to a race before, so am very happy... sono MOLTO contento!
Gonna buy all the tshirts, gonna get me a camera (haven't got one... found life was fine... other people always taking photos!).
They asked what job I'd like to do... I randomly said as a pitlane herder... hope I get it... hear those bikes roar past...

On the forum, there is this huge push and pull between those that want good clean fun, lust after Rossi as a pin up boy of a boy band, and those that want to cut and thrust and argue and be irreverant about racing, racers and, dammit, each other.
Myself, I'm a fan of the latter. If I want good clean fun, I can watch Leave it to Beaver, though the fun part of that is arguable.
How strict should forum rules be applied? If someone wants to join in a discussion, that is becoming heated...
