Mondo Italia
As I had a day off yesterday I took the chance to go and see the Mondo Italia fair in the Neue Messe in Stuttgart.
It is a fair about Italy (as the name might suggest) and yesterday's focus was on tourism which suited me fine as I am going to Italy for about a week this year.
First thing I noticed when entering the hall was this:

And then this:

Alex de Angelis bike:

Talma's bike from Valencia last year, the one he became WC on:

You could also enter a competition to win two tickets for the Misano GP and of course I did (okay, I have tickets already but you never know, they might be better seats
)
The people at the San Marino stand were really cool. When I tried to talk to the only man there it proved to be a challenge, him not speaking German or English and me not exactly speaking Italian. But we managed. So I asked him a few questions bout the bike and when I jokingly said "No Valentino Rossi, eh?" he laughed and a minute later came back with a leaflet for the Misano GP that had a pic of Vale on the front *laugh*
There was yet more to see, lots of cars:
the Lamborghini

The Ferrari:

Some old cars:

The funniest thing I saw there was the "3rd international Pizza WC in Germany"

and the "1st WC of Acrobatic Pizza"

These two are the two raining acrobatic Pizzaiolo WC:

It was a good day all in all, despite Vale's bike (or maybe even himself
) not being there. I guess the fair was just a tad too small for someone of his caliber :-)
