On the forum, there is this huge push and pull between those that want good clean fun, lust after Rossi as a pin up boy of a boy band, and those that want to cut and thrust and argue and be irreverant about racing, racers and, dammit, each other.
Myself, I'm a fan of the latter. If I want good clean fun, I can watch Leave it to Beaver, though the fun part of that is arguable.
How strict should forum rules be applied? If someone wants to join in a discussion, that is becoming heated and well... an argument... so be it. If there are those who hate that... you just avoid what the adults are talking about, yes?
Anyway, the whole business of a new moderator has opened this can of worms. It's not just language based. It's attitudal as well.
