Woh! Congratulations - that is an excellent video and brought back some memories! I was busy taking photos and panicking that one of my kids may take it into their heads to start bidding and that would have taken a bit of explaining. My youngest has no idea of the value of money and could not understand why I didn't bid to have her portrait done with Valentino. The eldest would have done it just to see the look on my face when he asked for the cash! No point in having all that stuff if you no longer have a home to put it in!
My husband played his cards very well by disappearing so that I could not give him pleading looks along the lines of "if you really loved me....".
He was already happy as he had already bid on and won a ride on the 2 seater Ducati next weekend and I was just going to have to make do with any photos I took on the day.
It is for a good cause, though and a lot of people went away very happy whether they took goodies away with them or not.
