After the Brno race many have said the championship is pretty much over, that it belongs to Stoner. It was so sad and distressing to see Vale like that, with problems and not being able to race the way we all know he can. I haven't given up yet. There are still 6 races left. I am not wishing Stoner anything bad but he may still have a few engine problems and only get 2 or 3 points in a couple of races while Vale wins them. I know, I may be quite the optimist or maybe really naive. But I'm a fan and I choose not to give up. We all know how talented Vale is and if there is one person who can still do it, it's him. All we have to do is hope and pray both Yamaha and Michelin get their act together and give Vale the bike he deserves so he can be out there winning races, not just managing to finish them.
Afterall the problems Vale ran into and how he graciously admitted defeat, my wife and I felt disappointed - not at him but at the mechanisms (tyres, etc). We really hope he'll win in the next races and God knows what will happen in year 2008. We will support Vale even if he quits Yamaha and join another sponsor. He will always be the best, the talented Vale - with or without points. We, together a bunch of our friends will be at Sepang to give our full support to Vale. Hope he won't disappoint us (his fans) and hope he won't be disappointed by the mechanisms as well, again. All the best, Vale 46!
Maree enjoy the race, give Vale a 'BIG' cheer off me please. He is a true genius and a true gentleman in defeat.2008 will be Vale's year so watch out Casey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That must have been the hardest thing for him to do. Admit defeat. So frustrating as he simply could not compete to the fullest due to the tyres, engine (Misano), etc. And, even though he could not compete, he never disappointed me because even in Sachsenring when he made the mistake, it only happened due to all the problems he'd had so far. So he felt he needed to push harder. Such a pity and yeah, quite the gentleman. We know how good he is and what he can do with a bike. Let us just send him the best vibes for the rest of this season. And for all you lucky guys and gals going to Sepang, have a great time and send a big cheer for me as Vale crosses the line first when the race finishes
VALE WILL BE ALWAYS THE CHAMPION WHATEVER HE DOES!!!!!!!!!SO BEFORE ANYONE SPEAKS ESPECIALLY FROM DUCATI SIDE,JUST TELL THEM THAT THEY MUST THINK ALL THESE YEARS BEFORE!!!!!!AND JUST 2 RACES THIS YEAR:ASSEN!!!!!!!! AND ESTORIL!!!!!!!!
