It's not the presence of the graphics I find objectionable, it's the volume.

A well chosen emoticon or two can be very witty, and even spinning GIFs have their place in the right context and can be amusing. However, when every post is finished off with 40 clapping smilies then the page becomes a sea of unreadable tripe and, more importantly, the graphics lose any meaning that they might have conveyed.

It's like chocolate; a little bit's delicious, but too much makes you sick.

Ps - Just seen rkt2hvn1's reply. More what I was expecting too be honest. No objections - my post was undoubtedly more vehement than was really necessary! Nonetheless, the 'get out stay out' keyboard-warrior stylings make me giggle. So many Tough Men on the net ain't there? lol

just an opinion and i ride and race track days ,so i follow all racing and dont want to date rossi just want his talent lol , not one of these ladies is just interested in just his bod just please show some respect when you are on. Alot of work has gone into this forum to keep it alive and make it better .

I'd be surprised if this post didn't get flamed, but maybe the board's admins might take some of it on board. It would be great to have a proper, adult-minded forum. I'm sure Valentino would be happy - after all, he's a grown man riding a 190mph motorbike, not a member of a teenage boyband.

hi,

well in your user-CP you can just edit the "visible elements in posts". Then there wont be many distracting banners, exept for the banner-contest one which will only be up till may 13th, so users notice "oh what is this?" clickign on it.....cuz otherwise noone will notice the contest. or at leat not that many.

and then there's just the forum banner left, which you'll have to get used to.....but since there's a banner contest, you can just submit an....empty space, maybe users like it, and it'll be a new style.

as for teeny boppers...you will *always* have them. I don't know any motoGP forum that doesn't have teeny boppers. maybe this one has more than others...but....not as many as on the nicky hayden forum LOL!
There's lots of users here that know alot about motoGP, also journalists and such. Just skip the teeny bopper comments and read those you want.
