It's not the
presence of the graphics I find objectionable, it's the
volume.
A well chosen emoticon or two can be very witty, and even spinning GIFs have their place in the right context and can be amusing. However, when every post is finished off with 40 clapping smilies then the page becomes a sea of unreadable tripe and, more importantly,
the graphics lose any meaning that they might have conveyed.
It's like chocolate; a little bit's delicious, but too much makes you sick.
Ps - Just seen rkt2hvn1's reply. More what I was expecting too be honest. No objections - my post was undoubtedly more vehement than was really necessary! Nonetheless, the 'get out stay out' keyboard-warrior stylings make me giggle. So many Tough Men on the net ain't there? lol
