Well this is as good a place as any to express my feeling about this ,i was saying that we have several talented web artist here i felt that would have only been fair to give all the fans who have that gift to participate since this is for the fans of valentino rossi not the fan ,or is she ,one of my biggest gripe about this is that one person took it onherself to decide for all of us ,i have been on this forum since the beginning and i have never seen such caos ,we are going to have members leaving if this is not run more for all of instead of decided for us,i think we should have a governing body of orig members ,to help this forum grow .we know that a lot of hard work went into this but many of us feel the same way that i did about thye poster ,make this a forum for fans or start your own FAN club ,and one thing else how does the person making the desicons for all of us also go onto other forums and disrespect vale , i.e. his girlfriend whom i think is very beautiful .this is not and has never been fair weather fan base you are either a fan of vale and support all he does or you are not if not get the hell out this club is for fans....and as fro the banner i never said chose all of them i said let us have a poll and decide by vote which was best ,instaed of us being left out no one who posted was left out of the poster and the forum should be run in the same manner. Senior member 4years and counting. paul

Why is Vale's girlfriend being brought into this discussion about banner designing????
Why is a new Fan club being brought up also....nothing has been mentioned about people leaving or am I missing something here????
& after reading ALL the posts in this thread again, it appears to me this is starting to resemble a mutiny in the making all over a banner!!! I mean, what the hell???? LeJ has just moved countries (the past couple of days) and is still managing to get on-line to do what she can....think about it everyone, let the poor girl unpack one suitcase at least hey!!!!! Angela, u did missed out alot, u have seen things only on surface, thats being quite unfair to Paul here. I feel bad for this. Did u seriously think we are rushing the 'poor girl' to finish her banner designs??? Seriously, we dont mind if she takes long to finish her stuff, even if it takes forever and the results werent good, we dont mind, we were suggesting why someone 's design cant be used or be put up there.Theres more to it Angela. Its so hard for Paul to bring up some of those stuff directly, he is caught in a tough position. nevermind if u dont understand. | | Junior Staff Sergeant | | Posts: 205 Join Date: 19.01.2007 Location: NSW, Australia Age: 21

Look Angela, the issue here is not (as Hazel pointed out) how long it takes LeJentle to settle into a new house. The issue is that she has some problem or another with letting other members of this forum have the opportunity to design a banner. & she didn't even say it directly, she had to make a big fuss about how difficult it is to change a banner in HTML, does she think us all ignorant of anything beyond posting? Changing an image is simple, & creating a style (which, yes, may take a bit longer & may not be as simple) that would fit various banners isn't very difficult either.
If she seriously believes that to change just one image on a website requires a complete re-do of the HTML code then she needs to re-learn how to use HTML because she obviously missed some things.
Now sorry Angela, if you don't like that a few of us would like to see what everyone who wants to have a go can come up with if given the opportunity to design a banner... You of all people I thought would have understood the desire to share what you've created with people who can fully appreciate the subject.
& on a closing note, about what Paul said concerning LeJentle's comments on Arianna, I have not read these comments, but if even half of what I've heard is true then LeJentle on other forums/another forum has been disrespectful of a part of Valentino's life, which is something a true fan wouldn't do. Now again I'll say, I have not read these comments, I've just been told about them, so I am not accusing LeJentle of this, I'm just trying to clear up for you, Angela, where Arianna came into this conversation. It was just Paul wondering why someone playing such a role on the main fan forum for Valentino would go & say such things. | | Managing Director | | Posts: 1,104 Join Date: 16.01.2007 Location: Germany Age: 19

That's exactly what I was expecting. Thanks LeJentle.
I know what a good webdesigner is. This is my job.
And honestly, what would I do with 10 new themes? | | BANNED | | Posts: 4,986 Join Date: 17.01.2007 Location: Cambridgeshire

I was sorry to read the last few pages here - I am happy with the finished result but a few people have been upset on the way. There did seem to be a lot of enthusiasm for members being able to suggest ideas for the final design and I don't think anyone was seriously suggesting that we use them all. It may have been better to put forward a few suggestions and then allow the forum members to choose which they would prefer, that way at least we could feel more involved - it works quite well for chosing governments.
I hope this has not upset anyone too much - please don't leave. I, for one, appreciate your input and views.
