Valentino Rossi’s victory at Mugello was celebrated also in Second Life with a party organized by his fans in Piazza del Duomo of the virtual sim Italia 4 Milano. Visitors could get a virtual replica of the special edition helmet which Rossi showed off these days on the Italian circuit.
The party also featured a Rossi look alike avatar as well a virtual version of his real motorbike. The racing outfit was offered for free to members of the group “Valentino Rossi - The Doctor”, a community of fans active in Second Life. The group plans to organize similar virtual events till the end of the championship, to sustain their idol to the 2008 World Champion title.
