Tell people that for Christmas you would like money and that way you can ave up for your flights etc..
Or maybe if you do very well in your exams they would be so happy that they let you go.
Start doing some extra chores about the house for more pocket money.
Tell your parents you would be staying with some really nice responsible people so you don't need a lot for accomadation only your flights etc and that it would a good opportunity for you to go with these people.
