R.I.P Craig, my condolences to his friends and family

R.I.P. Craig, I am shocked. it's so sad. He had such a short career, and so close to his first race win. He will be very missed. R.I.P xxxxx

British rider Craig Jones (born January 16, 1985 in Nortwichi) crashed yesterday during the race supersports, when he fought for victory in his home race, Brands Hatch. Unfortunately, he lost control of his motorcycle Parkalgar Honda and rider behind him, Andrew Pitt, could not avoid it. Jones suffered severe head injuries and was treated in the Medical Center directly on the circuit and immediately transported by air to London's Royal Hospital. Although he was operated, unfortunately this morning he succumbed to his injuries...

OMG! What an awfull crash!!
Rest in peace Craig!!! Too young to die...My thoughts are with his family and friends..

Such an awful loss of a great young up & coming British talent.
I found out this morning about this & could hardly believe it.
Such a nasty crash it was.

The British Eurosport commentary team (James & Jack) for WSB were always encouraging Jonesy on, regularly cheering for him during the races, it won't be the same any more without him that's for sure.

(How nice it was of Haga in the WSB after race interviews, when he wished Craig a speedy return to the track.)

My condolences go out to Craig's family, loved ones, friends & racing colleagues.
