so who's going? anyone going to try and arrange a meet? i'm not at all familiar with the track, so if anyone has any ideas, post up!

Jossi, from Ohio!

I am going with a friend, leaving Thursday, and traveling with a caravan of trailers. I will be participating in the Ducati events, helping out my club sell raffle tickets. My friend will be riding my bike for the Ride For Kids parade lap on Saturday evening. I think you are doing that too; correct? At this point, the track is very foreign to me so I could not even guess where there would be a place to meet, unless it would be where Vale's merchandise is being sold!

i am doing the parade lap! woohoo!

if nobody else has any ideas, i'll p/m you my phone number and we can try to meet up over the weekend.

hopefully the weather will be ok - somebody on here mentioned that the forecast right now is rain all weekend!

Hi All,

Valegrl46 here....I am going to be there, galoshes and all! I have never been to the track either so it will be difficult to meet up. I say we all go to Ducati Island in our full out Yellow Community gear and look for Jossi

What better way to find Val fans that wear yellow in a sea of red?

i'm actually questioning whether or not i'm going to ride down (vs. sitting in a nice warm dry car). i paid for the parade lap, but it won't be much fun if it's teeming down rain anyway, and the thought of riding back sunday/monday in the pouring rain isn't very desireable either!

The opportunity to ride on an "official" MotoGP track is a once in a lifetime opportunity! So that is still in the plans. The rest of the plans are changing, staying in Indiana through Tuesday and coming home Wednesday since the rain will have stopped and riding/driving will be easier.

I think there are covered bridges for sightseeing.

Trailering my bike on Thursday is now up in the air, so chances are my bike will be doing a round-trip affair!

i hear ya, regarding the lap (although it's not like it's the laguna parade lap!). but if you're riding, how can i bail?

it's just the thought of an 9hr+ ride in pouring rain is a bit...hmmmm....

so I rode down - weather was beautiful yesterday but it's raining a bit now.

Unfortunately I won't get to wear a rossi helmet for the parade lap on Saturday because HE SIGNED IT FOR ME TODAY!!!! So I refuse to wear it now and bought a cheap KBC to get me home. Woohoo!!!!
