Thanks Angela. I had to explain that while it is ok to wear the do-rag around town and around the house, it is not going to fly when school starts in two weeks. LOL I love the look on Vale's face and Riley's face. They are like old pals. Riley says he hopes he remembers him next year. I told him that Vale meets sooooo many people that he may not but if he reminds him that he gave him the turtle, he just might. LOL The shot where he is looking at the paper is a "birth certificate" that was printed out by Build-A-Bear that says what his turtles name is (Valentino), his weight, height and "Made with love for Valentino Rossi by his friend Riley Hagen". I wish I would have gotten a shot of that before we gave it to him. Riley was so happy though so it was a total success. Some people say that Rossi is "slightly off" when he meets people but not with us. He said "Ciao" to Riley and Riley(being american) said "Oh no thanks, I already ate" Rossi loved that! Riley is always saying Ciao now instead of Chow. LOL

Oh you'd be surprised at what Valentino remembers considering all the different places and so many faces he sees!
I'm certain Vale will remember Riley for sure when he meets him again next year at the circuit. He usually gives away the fact that he remembers you by when he's introduced to you again he'll start with an 'Ahhh' before the usual 'ciao'...Just wait & see for yourself, he'll do it I bet!

Of course we will be there! I know its over the July 4 holiday, but I don't think they could select a date that would keep me away!

That is so cool that you got to see Vale at the Aquarium. And very cool that Riley got a bike....who knows...maybe you guys will be the next American MotoGP parents

LOL! Lord only knows where this will send Riley! He has been practicing in the backyard and is already planning the trip for next year. LOL We should definitely meet up next year! We are already booked at the Holiday Inn Express in Monterey(about a block and a half from Cannery Row) and will be renewing our tickets when the renewal is sent out at the end of this month. Yeah, 4th of July weekend will not keep me away and I am working on setting up for Indy in 09. Fabulous!
