I was just notified I need to be in Catalunya for work purposes.. 11-15/6
Which means I have to travel a day before... or 2?

It is the same day as the MotoGP race there!

so guess what - I will go to the Catalunya race (flights paid by company) - and 2 weeks after will attend Donington Park as well! Happy Happy Joy Joy!

So my question is - is anybody from the forum going to be here? My hotel is about 30 min from the circus (by train) but since I have never been there before would love to get some advice.. saw the tickets are OK in price (70 euros) but any other info would be great.

PS - I need to fly to Vienna tomorrow (work) so if I am not responding it is only because I am away...

Can't offer any advice but congratulations - make sure you enjoy it. Have fun in Vienna - if I am lucky I might make it as far as Huntingdon tomorrow which puts me in a slightly different league

How close? Huntingdon is about 7 miles from here - the nearest point of civilisation (if you are prepared to stretch a point!)

Well Huntingdon is 40 miles from us. Just off Junction 1 on the A14...

You must be quite close to Rockingham circuit then? I took my best every photo there - at a track day. Unfortunately, while it is an excellent photo, it is not of my husband or his friend but of some other complete stranger who had the audacity to look very much like Dave as he approached at high speed! Most of the other photos I took were ones of the empty bit of track where my husband had very recently been
