We've got a lot of threads about people going to different races, so we thought they'd be easier to find in a separate forum!
So any questions about going to a GP or plans to meet up, or plans to make things for the races etc, please put them here. Also, if people want to blog here about their experiences at any of the races that would be really cool too .
So that this subforum doesn't get too cluttered, please can we keep one thread only for each separate event .
Oh and most importantly, have a totally fantastic time if you're going to see Vale this year . | Today

At Assen, I recommend the Winterdijk tribune.
If you want to see good overtaking maneuvres, that's the place to be. | | Junior Sergeant First Class | | Posts: 345 Join Date: 04.07.2007 Location: Athens, Greece Age: 15

I think that the idyllic place at Assen are the paddock where you can see the start and the finish and the pits!! THANK YOU VALE! | | Master Sergeant | | Posts: 568 Join Date: 30.01.2008 Location: wirral england

well i will be at donington again, firstly for the day of champions then back again on the sunday for the race its self.due to circumstance i cant go for the whole 3 days, which id love to but may be next year (if vale is still riding of course).
if you are thinking of taking a trip to donington then the day of champions is a fantastic day out.the entry is ticket only and its a all access areas day.you can see what goes on at a moto gp weekend.i managed to get lots of brilliant photos of many riders and there bikes, didnt manage to get a pic of vale himself but i got plenty of pic of the bike my avatar pic is just one of many.
if you can get to the day then go as you wont be disappointed AND ON THE 8TH DAY GOD CREATED ROSSI.. XLVI | | Super-Moderator | | Posts: 4,519 Join Date: 17.01.2007 Location: Liverpool-England

if you can get to the day then go as you wont be disappointed | Yes everyone who can get along to the day of champions and take lots of money with you, the auction is amazing and you won't be able to help yourself from bidding for some of the wonderful items the riders donate for the charity.
You'll get lots of chances of photo opportunities with MotoGP riders and even autographs from them too.....if you manage to search out Valentino for a quick photo opportunity or autograph you'll be very lucky indeed....the poor guy is hounded everywhere he goes by hundreds of fans and so keeps a very low profile (I don't blame him either) yet I am still lucky enough to either publicly meet him or have a private meeting with him. I was thinking of going to Doni this year, coz so much of you are from UK and it'd be great to meet up.BUT unfortunatly it way too expensive!
So I'm doing Mugello, Brno, Misano and Valencia this year.I've been to all except Misano lat year and had a blast at each one. For a Vale fan the most amazing IMO is Mugello-people there are just mad (I mean that in a good way ). On the other hand I probably had the most fun in Valencia, mostly due to the fact I met up with a few other yellows (the race itself was a different story altogether ).
So looking forward meeting everybody who will be at these races Just because someone sees two naked people asleep in bed together, it doesn't necessarily prove sex was involved. It does, however, make for a very strong case. | | Top Master Sergeant | | Posts: 692 Join Date: 16.09.2007 Location: NORTH WALES.UK. Age: 40

wow brubi, you really are addicted. It's a shame we won't be seeing you at donington, but i am really pleased to know your at brno AND misano. I have heard that mugello is a blast, but rally wanted to go to misano this year, maybe mugello can wait till next year. "When i get on my bike, i do it to ride to victory!
