I am going to the IndyGP. I belong to a club in Ohio called D-ROC, Ducati Riders of Ohio Club. Ducati of Italy in conjunction with Ducati of North America has reserved hotel rooms for all Ducati clubs in America. The Mugello Project grandstand is where all the Ducati club members can sit, 30 feet ( 9.4 meters ) away from the track and at a good passing point. That grandstand is still being constructed.
Do you think a yellow shirt will stand out against all the red???
Thursday before race weekend, Ducati will hold a dinner for all club members, and on Tuesday after race weekend a nearby track is being rented for Ducati riders to ride our bikes. I am really excited that a GP track is now five hours from my home. We might have privileges into the paddock or at least maybe more of a chance to obtain paddock passes! I still have to find that out. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is in Cleveland, and our club logo is a guitar (ROC and Rock). A real electric guitar is being made, which the liaison for Ducati of North American will get signed by Stoner. The guitar will then be raffled off. The money will then be divided among rider safety classes, local racing clubs, Ducati of Italy, and our club. D-ROC is a year old and has been recognized by Ducati of Italy as one of the best clubs in America.
Do not fret (no pun intended ), Yellows. I am a Vale fan through-and-through.
Forza Vale

Wow, Jossi, that sounds really good!!!
Do make sure you wear a yellow shirt so we can make you out in the crowd when watching the race on telly
As for myself, I will be joining Dee, Brubi, Seabiscuit, Larisa, etc. at Brno and Dee and Brubi in Misano. Is quite good that the two races are close together so I can combine them with a visit to Vienna (thank you Bets ) and a small stay in tuscany before going over to the east of italy Ivi Riding a race bike is an art -
a thing that you do because you feel something inside. Well deserved winter break! Relax, have fun and come back to fight again!!!

Ivi, don't forget to take your blow-up pillow. The ground can get a little hard! How lucky you are to see two races and do some traveling. Brno is absolutely beautiful with a great track and city.
I am getting so excited for the season to start and look forward to reading about everyone's race stories.

Just because someone sees two naked people asleep in bed together, it doesn't necessarily prove sex was involved. It does, however, make for a very strong case. | | Captain | | Posts: 3,641 Join Date: 17.01.2007 Location: Brisbane Queensland Australia

They have bands playing in teh main street which they close off to traffic. Also a sausage sizzle to keep people from getting too drunk!! There is also a big screen at the bottom of the main street which plays the days racing.
In amongst all this the riders are usually wandering about goingto dinner, except come Saturday night when they are all business!! Sunday night is great after the race when everyone gets to wind down, before leaving Monday morning for the airport to fly off to teh next race..
The camping can get a tad wet there as it rains lots at The Island!! But everyone has a great time at the camp grounds. | | Master Sergeant | | Posts: 568 Join Date: 30.01.2008 Location: wirral england
