Hi

I would be planning to go to the race in Jerez in March, but I've never been there so I had some questions

Who's also planning to go?
Which seats are the best to book?
Do you know a camping nearby (not like in Valencia which said only 3km It's was minimum an hour walk if the police would let you pass to take the short way, otherwise 2hours)

So if anyone could help me, I'd be verry happy

Seems like us poor Rossi fans are always being taken in by people quiting incorrect walking distances - I still have evidence on my poor feet of my 7km (I do normally appreciate a sense of humour but not when it leads to my own personal discomfort)walk from Tavullia to the Misano circuit.
Don't get me wrong I would walk to the end of the earth for Vale but I would prefer to be correctly informed beforehand so I could be sure of the correct footwear and suitable training programme in the preceding months!

You're totally right!! I thought it would only be a 20min-walk so the only whoes I had with me are boots, I simply don't have walking shoes But next race I'll be more prepared!! Those blisters were killing me!!!

Actually the shoes I wore for the Misano trek were really comfortable and were my favourite shoes - sparkly Skechers. That night they were unceremoniously dumped in the bin. My husband assumed it was a mistake or a joke and took them out and we had an almighty row over it (I was excused being so unreasonable as I was in so much pain)

Hi babe!
I'm planning to go to Jerez , so we can look together for camping sites or cheap hotels/hostels.Fortunatly we do have few months to spare.

But of course if any of you have already been there, feel free to give us some advice...please!!

Just because someone sees two naked people asleep in bed together, it doesn't necessarily prove sex was involved. It does, however, make for a very strong case.

Hey, that's great!!! I'm not alone then!!
Well I've already checked the flights and that wasn't a problem but I guess the campings will be... They're probably almost all fully booked. But I'll have a look now and if I find anything (close to the track this time) I'll let you know!

Just heard this morning that my lovely husband (he really is such a nice man and I really don't give him enough credit for that) has booked for us to go to the race at Jerez .

I had dropped a few hints about the race falling in the school holidays and how convenient that was but then I became a little concerned when he said he had given up trying to book flights to Spain and that we were going to Portugal instead for a short holiday, but he had also booked the tickets for the GP. It turns out that Faro is not that far from Jerez - as long as we don't have to walk!!!

Great news for you yet again Jr.

I've been torn between doing 3 races this year or either going for 2 races & one of them being VIP? So far the VIP option is winning.....Well the way Ray's boss is at letting him have time off I think that the second option is our only safe option really. Or chance having to cancel at the last minute and loose a lot of money spent on tickets , flights and hotels just because Ray has to work....& 98% chance it would happen! That's the kind of bloke Ray works for!!

Just don't go thinking my life is all rosy - it isn't and I have a feeling the booking of the Jerez tickets was a panic reaction to a situation. Bless him, he knows how to make me smile!

I suggest you go for all 3 races, with the VIP option as well and then if Ray can't go I will do the honourable thing and take his place so that you do not have to go alone. Can you also arrange for someone to look after my kids while I am away with you?

Am I missing something? Seems a good solution to me.
