Is Fiat's contract up at the end of the season?

Yes it was a 2 year contract as i recall.....Maybe we will get some
sponsor with colours for vale

when fiat started sponsoring yamaha last year i said "what th hell" why would a not so known brand sponsor a motogp bike! then i was so wrong, because fiat partly owns ferrari.

now what i dont get is why would ferrari give its techno to ducati instead of its sponsored team yammy.

there are so many sponsors out there in line who can give a big tip to vales paycheck.

RDP to continue is a big mistake, do we need to have some fatality before we kick this guy out of the motogp? he is the biggest mistake in the history of motogp

sorry but max biaggi was cursed by honda when he commented " i didnt forget how to ride, its honda who forgot how to make a bike", words that was caught by honda hidden cams

ow.. i thought yamaha still had get a sponsporship with fiat hm.. so does anyone know what the update news from vale, about the motegi race?

Interesting to find out who the new sponsor for Vale's Yamaha team will be? Maybee Fiat will re sign i dont think anyone knows yet...

All these announcements have been a total snorefest. Ok, the Marco Melandri one was kind of interesting (as Tammerz and myself had him pegged as working in a Taco Bell for the rest of his life), but it was like MONTHS ago that we were discussing that Andrea was soooo going to Honda Repsol and The Hickster was a sure bet for ducati...

Being right just isn't as fun as I thought it would be.

Elias returns as Gresini announce 2009 structure

Toni Elias will be reunited with former manager Fausto Gresini when he returns to the Honda Gresini team to ride alongside Alex de Angelis in 2009.

With an official announcement made public on Thursday at Phillip Island Fausto Gresini confirmed his 2009 rider line-up - with Toni Elias returning to the satellite Honda team, as expected, to run alongside Alex de Angelis next season.
Furthermore, Gresini´s solid relationship with HRC, dating back 12 years, has earned the San Carlo Honda Gresini team the continued use of a factory spec Honda RC212V which will be made available to Elias, as he returns to the team he rode for in 2006 and 2007.
Gresini Racing have also announced the confirmation of San Carlo Gruppo Alimentare as the title sponsor of the team.
Team Manager and former 125cc World Champion Gresini commented, `I´m happy to announce the San Carlo Honda Gresini sports programme for the 2009 season. The possibility to line up a Honda factory spec machine represents for us a sign of esteem from HRC and it will offer to us all the potential to make a great season.´
`We welcome back Toni Elias who will be Alex De Angelis´ new teammate in 2009, recently confirmed to stay with us after his debut season in MotoGP. I would like to thank San Carlo, who will continue to collaborate with us as title sponsor of the team. We are proud of the relationship that has been created with the Italian company and also with the other partners of the team.´
With a word for the departing rider who will be replaced by Elias, Gresini added, `Finally, we acknowledge Shinya Nakano who contributed to another chapter of the Gresini Racing story.´
Elias himself told motogp.com, `I am really happy because Honda and Fausto believe in me and have given me this chance. It is a good opportunity and I really want to get some good results next year.´
