Default The YC's Unofficial Rookie of the Year - 14.07.2008, 01:12
Soooo, the year started out looking fine for Jorge and Tosserland... not looking so great now.

My fave for Rookie of the year (And I suppose it will be a common fave) has gotta be Andrea Dovizioso. Consistency and daring on a satellite bike, with no team mate... he's really making a great job of it, isn't he?

Unless Alex De Angelis does something really amazing (which he's certainly proving himself capable of... now and then...) in the second half of the year... Andrea surely must have it in the bag.

Perhaps beating Jorge, finally, is what drives him on?


It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar!

He was my pick at the start of the year so no need to change my mind now.

although I did swap him for lorenzo in my MCN fantasy team very bad move it has cost me a fortune.

Yeah, Jorge... all show and no substance for the Man from Majorca/Mallorca... can't think how to spell it... these days... really fizzed, hasn't he?

I actually didn't think too much about it at the start of the year... but since Tosserland has sunk into loerville, and Jorge not far behind him... suddenly I did think of it!

for me DOVI, cause inspite of have a worst bike he's doing a brilliant job and great races, and is the most constant rookie
