I got the impression at the beginning of the season that Vale had some kind of problem about wearing that red hat and kept it off as long as possible but as his results have improved he had been wearing it more and this time the whole team were in on it. He has subtle ways of showing gratitude. That read hat went straight onto his head this time.
I was wondering if he would throw his helmet to the crowd this time - can you imagine that face flying through the air? it would have made and excellent photo. |
Well Valentino only twice gave away his equipment if i'm not seriously wrong.
And you are right, he was not wearing Bridgestones so proudly like now.
But Bridgestone deservs it. They work hard with him, giving him chance to be srtong from start till the end.
Stoner didn't threatend Vale in any moment. Vale pullled away and kept the distance. Stoner made stupid mistake once yes, but second time he almost sliped away when he did that slide. So, he coulnd't push harder to pass Vale.So maybe we could have fight till the last lap but eventualy Stoner would lose in any case.
