Yep. A dry race where it stays dry and there is no threat of it doing any different - that is what I would prefer to see.
Rain may make it more exciting in some ways but it does tend to throw up some bizarre results and makes the whole think a bit of a lottery.
It also has the potenetial to make the whole thing far more dangerous than it needs to be. For the real experienced riders that may be OK but for some who might be tempted to push a little too hard given the conditions...it worries me. Look at Yorkay - he clearly does not have his own well-being in the forefront of his mind and is desperate for points. Add a drop of rain to that scenario and it is not looking good for him. The last thing we want to see is any serious incidents.
Also, for people who are going to be there in person (Vassili for one) the sunshine makes the day out far more pleasant.
