this is a pretty good thread as no one really seems to know a positive answer, but i will say that i doubt the original bike will have been re-fueled as it has enough in it to complete a race so if its not been used for say 10 laps then it will have more than enough in it and this then could itself cause problems,as the fuel goes down the bike gets lighter and easier to move about, but if its still got +10 laps of fuel in it then the likes of the top riders may struggle,if you look back at vale over the years he comes good as the fuel load goes down and if its a tad overweight at a certain point in the race it will feel like the first few laps, hope that makes sense

but yeah these are valid questions that require a valid answer.....the dry - wet - dry as not happened yet so lets wait and see

Maybe it would be an F1 like tire change and then out again?

f1 is crap with a capital shit...if that was to happen then moto gp will be dead.
it takes too long to replace the wheels on a bike compared to a f1 car so for some of the race there would be no race as they would al be in the pits, and as you know if you have been to a round of moto gp,once the bikes go past there is nowt to see for a minute os two zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
