I'm putting Vermeulen 5th, Colin 4th, though I am really tempted to put them the other way around. The sun is now shining, the track is pretty much dry... unless a shower is on it's way...
Hopefully Valentino will go out on a hardish slick to see out the race. Good that the track is dry... means can start with one thing... and the weather can only go the other way. Which means everyone in the same boat.
Dani... he's my 3rd, KC second. Something about KC... he's fired up. Probably humiliation is giving him indigestion!
Also, with the track dry... me thinks bridgestone might get the advantage.
MMMMMMM. I wanna change Colin. Am I just a bitch... but I'm not sure he's gonna get 4th... even if he had the lead at some point... I just think he'll make a hash of it... not sure he's up to the pressure of having other blokes on his a**. (Not many men are, though. LOL.)
You notice it's really hard picking 4th, 5th, 6th? The top three tend to be the same blokes... but the next immediate picks I find are always the harder... last race had the same trouble over 3rd and 4th... you know they aren't going to win, you know they aren't going to totally suck... but they have elements to their racing that you just don't or can't trust... so not sure whether to put them 4th or 5th, or 10th and 11th.
Tosserland I've got at 11th, I think. Nicky 12th.
Jorge I've got at 9th or 10th. He just better not crash out... I don't want to lose 6 points on him.
Marco I've got 15th.
Randy, the pain in the a**... I've put 9th. If he does better, I'll kill him. Or punish him by never letting him loll around with his leathers unzipped again. That'll stymy him!
John Plucka Hopkins I've given a leap of faith to... he's 6th.
Bring it on! I'm so excited, I'm soo excited, I'm about to lose control and I think I like it, like it, oh yeaaaaaaaah!
I bought bacon and cheese balls and a bottle of passiona for the occassion. I'm set for a good, cosy night in on this icy evening in Sydney.
No, I realised I'd left Toni ELias out... though the duc's seemed to have struggled... at least the Alice ones... so Toni 15th, Sylvain 14th... Marco nowhere.
Oh merde. But it's now dry... the ALice duc's on bridgestones might do better than they have in FPs. Grrrrrrr.
And Iv'e changed... Randy 7th, Andrea 9th.
See, this matters... I'm only 5 points off being on the list on the site... gotta try and come up with amazing choices to catch that 5 point deficit... though putting Vermeulen 5th... LOL. It's a risk! Though he's so worked up about showing he can race in the dry... and he likes the track... he'd be feeling good about being there after his win last year... his Suzuki is on the up and up... yeah, he can stay 5th. And if he takes 5th, I'll never sneer at his hairy mole again! POST RACE HASH Okay, Chris is the most handsome man in the world. His mole is lovely. Thanks for taking 5th. Along with Valentino... only top 10 I think I got right. Dani rode this race like I wanted him to ride the previous race. Little shit. Just as I think KC has the goods and put the little jerk second... the ducati has to prove it's a heap of junk. Jorge... you are my Waterloo! Damn you! ANd he wasn't in pain. He looked pretty perky. Colin... well, you eeked out a 3rd... only cause KC's bike died. I wanted to see how Col would stand up to some real hassling. Not too great from what we saw... he was pretty easy to pass. So, if only the race had of finished after lap 5, I would have had a perfect top 5! It was the only negative thought I had... 21 laps to go and I was thinking, "Nooooo, it's too early, it won't last! Noooooo!" THOUGH, am happy to sacrifice some points if it means Valentino takes over the championship lead. I had Dani 3rd... better for Rossi that he was 4th, so not too peeved about that. SO can't be bothered working out my points myself... I'll wait till motogp.com do it for me... It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar! I think everyone took a hammering!
I got my lowest, too, with 101!
I squarely blame bloody KC... I had him second... and got a big fat ZERO for 2nd.
I'm 4 points instead of 5 off being on the list... and coming 36th overall... so this is where I think we got hammered. All the people that just stick the faves in the top places obviously did better than those of us trying to really "THINK" about it... lol.
So, getting my Chris Vermeulin points, I will be very nice about his mole from now on... It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar! I got a lousy 98 points.....but I've been crap in this league from the start, so not much difference with this race compared to the others for me! I've only got 510 points in total so far, that's how crap I've been! 510 isn't too bad. What's your global position?
That Mel and myself have similar points totals each race, but seem to choose the first four quite differently (dare I say I'm better at picking the cannon fodder? LOL.)
And it seems to take only one race to turn it around... if I had've picked that Tosserland, Hopkins and KC were going to bomb, I would have gotten wayyyy more points... and possibly the lead. But as it was...
So all it takes is ONE round. It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar! Valentino Rossi: The smartest, cleverest, bestest, hottest, sexiest, sweetest, finest f**ker on the planet today.

Neither have I reached 500 pts. But I've attended only for last 2 (China, France) GP predictions
Anyway, it is a nice idea to have such a game on the Official site, although it's not a hard-core test of expertise, but... fun

What do you mean not a hard core test of expertise? Trying to nail down whether Randy will crash or not, if Nicky will be top 10 or nowhere, or if Randy will crash into him... it's a nightmare! And who to leave off the list... Ant, Marco, Sylvain, KC! It's getting competitive at that end of the list!
Again, though, what is everyone's global positions? Or, if because they've missed races... what positions did they come with their picks in the races they participated in? That's the best guide, if you can't use overall points as an indication... It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar!
