Well everyone has right on his opinion that's normal. And it's time to STOP about this subject. Vale was 5th and that is it. We all was in a way dissapointed but not because Vale was 5th, it's because we all love him so much that we all expect from him to be the best or just to show the "eye of the tiger". But he is a human (some of us think diferently ) In my mind and heart no mather what, I will always be his fan as everybody else here.
SO STOP BITCHIN' and lets get ready to ruummmbleeee in Jerez
Go Go Vale gadget bike
best regards to ya all from me

Dee, hun, all my best to your daughter! My thoughts are with you!
Love ya!!!!

And on another note: I am quite glad you all kinda calmed down now! Hell, to have read your posts after the race, you would've thought Vale crashed out of the race or something. But he didn't, he was fighting for the points he got! I am proud of the way he rode!
As for the race: it was actually quite exciting to watch (I looked at it again today). There were many fights going on and KC had to struggle to get to the front. Yes, once he was there, he managed to get away, but wait till we are in Jerez, normal race day, normal temperatures (at least I hope so ) and then things will look different already, I am sure.
As for the rookies going strong on the bikes: We kinda knew this would happen with having realised how easy it now seems for younger riders to adapt to the not-so-much-beasts-no-more (I agree with you on that one, Catty). But not all rookies managed, de Angelis did crash out (unfortunately, would have like him to finish the race, he was doing alright). Thanks everyone, sophie will be fine, she will be at her three year milestone in july!!! i didn't post my comments for sympathy, just to try to bring a bit of reality back to us all, and put thiings in context !! I sometimes take things where Vale is concerned too seriously, and have to pinch myself to bring me back to my real life, just like i'm sure his family do with him!! Who the hell is Horhey ??
The name is Jorge ..
Watched the race, gotta say it was boring..
I did like the 250's, and loved the 125's as usual.
And i loved the brave team in the 250's who are wearing polka dot leathers ! (Imre Toth i believe??)
Only brave men wear polka dots !
I've prefered the superbikes for a long time, the racing has been awesome. And now with Xaus sticking it Biaggi, it's heaven !
The dog fights for positions is just nothing how it used to be.
Go Valentino, but motogp just doesn't turn me on anymore ...
And yeah, gotta agree with Dee, when you've had alot of shite happen in your life, you don't sweat the little stuff..
Makes you thankfull you are still here to watch the race in the first place ... "Never mind the Bollocks" | | Senior Captain | | Posts: 4,123 Join Date: 25.02.2007 Location: Manchester

WTF?
Ok, cancer, starving masses in Africa, uneven distribution of wealth throughout the world, burn victims, dying soldiers, victims of torture, illiteracy, disease and injustice aside...
Sorry, folks, I still care that my rugby league team, Manly, lost the grandfinal in 1995 and 1997... nothing gonna change that. Add Valentino's lost campaign of 2006...
I think people need a bit of empathy for those that take things to heart. It's not about pessimism or optimism - if everyone had a choice, no one would choose to feel crappy about anything.
I understand those that have taken Qatar in their stride, and I understand those that have been mortified by the race. I don't understand why people want to bash others for feeling different from themselves.
I don't think those that are being labelled as pessimists or traitors are willfully feeling fear/fright... just their instinctive reaction... and they made the mistake of sharing it here on this forum.
I don't think ANYONE, EVER should regret expressing their feelings/opinion re Rossi and the GP races here. Isn't this the whole point of the forum? That people can share this stuff with each other?
So sure, talk each other around, back each other up, but don't stick the boot in just because someone has written what they're feeling and someone else doesn't agree with it. Discuss it, instead.
Such judgemental preciousness is really nasty stuff. It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar! Valentino Rossi: The smartest, cleverest, bestest, hottest, sexiest, sweetest, finest f**ker on the planet today.

Right before this gets out of hand...I'm ending it now! Discussion over!! So let's look to the next race, Jerez at the end of March!
