No, you can still keep your home as a shrine and defend our gorgeous boy to the very end. Just don't expect him to win all the time. And please, never ask him to quit just because he does not live up to our unreasonable expectations. It is his life and he should do what he is happy doing - our happiness is not his responsibility. If he is still enjoying MotoGP then let him do it. He is not spoiling it for us by not winning.

Well said jackie.
We all wanted him to win, and i hope not for our own selfish reasons but for his!!!! He had a good race, defended well, returned back safe and is happy and confident, what more (except the win) can we ask for??? The race for me, was so tense and i felt like hiding behind my sofa, when it finished i was disappointed, but just looking at his smile and knowing it was only race one, that disappointment turned to pride, he IS still a fantastic rider, and person, and whatever position he achieves, if he is happy then i am too!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there!! It has been a long time since last year I've written something on this site. Due to the same spoken subjects... Bad engine, bad tires, bad chassis, etc...
But I just want to say that:
I'm still a Rossi fan and I'll always be as long he stays in MotoGP. No matter what. But my opinion is that he still shows some motivation to get an extra motoGP title. Why I say some and not full motivation? Well... What does he needs more?? He has already 7 title's on his name. Yeah of course an extra would be nice... I get the feeling when I'm seeing him driving that bike it is like he is just riding for fun. Not anymore with the same entousiasm as the 1st year at Yamaha. Where are those moments that Valentino was known as a better performer, even when the tyres got more used?? The younger riders don't have what he already accomplished. So they are much more motivated than he is. Now of course it is still the 1st race of a long championship. But that's what we all said last year. So for my part, if Valentino doesn't show more motivation, than it is already a lost case. What again an excuse of whatever... So Vale please let us show your slip and slide again.... and WAKE UP!!!!!!! Let's get back to real business!!!

hmm....if vale is riding for fun only then i must be watching him in order to pass the time only. no wonder i watched the race with half closing eyes. he didn't have enough motivation n so didn't my ehthusiasm for his race.
the race was so boring n hurting. luckily i was wise enough to switch the channel after dani had passed him.

Hi I thought it was a damn good race for the first of the season. It was just like old times a few seasons back when everybody had to fight for a place. Stoner didnt run away with it he had to fight too. Yes his Ducati ended up faster in the end but he didnt just run away with it. (And yes I did throw things at the tv and call him a few names) but his bike wont be suited to all the tracks that's were Vale's talent will shine through. What would be the fun in watching Vale win every race???? we were all bored stiff last year when Stoner did just that. I have faith in Valentino and will support him wether he comes last or first. You dont just follow somebody who wins all the time you support through good and bad .And I know that in your hearts you all feel the same. Can't wait for the next race .
Ps: I thought all the newbies had a very good race it makes for excitment in the season.

He rides to win, always but if you don't have fun in that what you do what are you?
Robot=Dani Pedrosa?
I can't believe ths, i watched whole race later even i knew what is result.
It was fun, those passes blocking, have you seen how he passed Dani Pedorsa and Dovi, and those late breaks even he didn't haveright tyres....
I understand you would like him to win, but to turn back when he loses?
What fan does that?
Even if he loses, even if he is at last place he is the best man in the grid.
Everything he does is pure magick. No one passes like him....
He has the most passes in every seasson what does that tell you?
But bike and tyres can't keep up for now.
