Not sure what the big deal about the cold is... it was a very hot track last year that the Michelins did better on... Leguna Seca comes to mind... so basically, the manufacturers moan and cover their asses before races now... sad state of racing when prerace talk is all about the goddamn tyres... Michelin riders versus Bridgestone riders... what the weather is doing... and therefore, able to predict who the front runners will be. BORING! It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar! Laguna Seca was a Michelin disaster last year, they melted and finished 30odd seconds behind Stoner and Vermuelen, remember Melandri on Bridgestones just driving past Dani and Vale near the end... | | Master Sergeant | | Posts: 574 Join Date: 24.03.2007

I was racking my brain trying to remember the race VR crashed in trying to take out Randy, and Stoner came 5th and Dani won... realised my error after I logged off... couldn't remember which thread it was in to fix it... hehe. Yeah, Laguna Seca was horrible... 22 secs or something off Stoner's pace, VR was at the end... dunno how I mixed those two races up! Hmmm, i don't really care, as long as the racing and qualifying is a little more entertaining than last year..
Hopefully yesterdays pole results means good racing.. "Never mind the Bollocks" | | Master Sergeant | | Posts: 579 Join Date: 30.01.2008 Location: wirral england

if vale gets his set up right he can generally make good what is bad ,i'll be interested to see what tyre is best over race distance. i must admit tho for this race i have a few concerns. Casey is certainly rattled and how good are the yams looking so far Noddy46 even the most ordinary among us are quite extraordinary. | | Senior Captain | | Posts: 4,123 Join Date: 25.02.2007 Location: Manchester
