I will stay with vale. I still considered him young for MotoGP. 32 yo would be different. Although 29 is not in prime condition. But experience can balance it.

In 2007, KC is mistake free because he knows he can rely on his bike on straight line. Just open the gas....bye bye vale, pedrosa, etc. While vale is fully rely on turning which heavily rely on tyre...and Michelin was really bad. So KC is mistake free is because he has high confidence. Not that high for 2008. I strongly believe that. Because vale on same tyre. But Bridgestone might hold back to give vale best tyre because vale has same garage as hor-hey. And brigdestone could be afraid their secret recipe might leak into michelin hand inside fiat yamaha garage. That's the only thing worry me. But as long Pedrosa shines with michelin and honda. Automatically Yamaha as Honda's long time rival will shine too. But vale has to prove to be the fastest bridgestone rider beating KC. It will guarantee him to get the best bridgestone tyre among other rider.

Pedrosa. I think this man is Vale real threat. Not KC no. This guy is purely fluke. He come at the right team at the right time. He is fast. He is risk taker. He is stubborn. But his skill not as high as Vale or even Pedrosa. Bridgestone start to shine. Ducati start to look for Capirossi replacement. Ducati is the team which Bridgestone rely on the most I guess. So right team right time. Fluke rider. Shooting star rider. 2 second bright the rest gone sliding out the circuit. I got the feeling he will crash even more than 2007. Maybe less than 2006.

Few numbers different in championship would not be much different to me. It heavily rely on how the scoring system used. But big difference in scoring is serious thing. I guess KC deserve to get 2007 title. But not because he is good. No way. Because he has better package than other rider yes. Tyre + Bike.

KC disappointment and anger towards people in paddock talk INDICATES deep down inside his heart he does not have that confidence. It just blows out when people keep telling bad thing about him. For example, if I think I am good hand drawer and I surely believe that, I would not care whatever people talk about me. Because I knows myself best not anybody else. Anger just a sign of frustration to prove something but people think otherwise. And confidence plays role here.

Oooooh, goody, I guess this wee little missile from KC is a sign that the season is getting underway! Yay!

I think KC is right right right to see Pedro as a threat. He is. He's a better rider and the only thing that stopped KC from being chucked into 3rd for a few races last year was tyres. If Michelin pull their finger out (finally), then yeah, Dani gonna kick KC's ass... actually, they may be so busy eyeing each other off as each other's bigget rivals, crasher KC and living-on-the-edge Dani might just hand a championship to Valentino...

The big thing I'm hoping for this year is a test to see whether KC's "perfect" season was just a fluke. That for so many races his only rival was himself... how far can he push himself, his bike, etc, but not really under race conditions (with people 10 secs behind you, and you've led from the first corner... )... I wanna see Dani pushing him all the way... that's when the mistakes might start to happen...
Also, possibly suits Valentino down to the ground to have all pressure removed from him this year. Dani has pressure to fulfill his talent and potential, KC has to deliver another perfect year or he knows he's gonna cop a flogging... perhaps for the first time in his career, being the underdog, might help VR no end!

It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar!

Valentino Rossi: The smartest, cleverest, bestest, hottest, sexiest, sweetest, finest f**ker on the planet today.
2007... it's still gonna get it's ass kicked!
2007... it's HISTORY!

I love racing game. And I do not understand why KC told it is better to be chased rather than being the one who chasing. This guy is very strange....is he really 2007 champion???? naturally better be as the chaser because
1. you can see other line, learn the weakness and strength and put pressure.
2. also because you can see where is your opponent. Is he closer or getting away.
3. being the chased is not funny. The pressure is much more bigger than being the chaser. You have to concentrate to everything at front and the back which is the chaser.
4. Aerodynamic ease the effort of the chaser. Although the heat from the chased might heat up chaser's bike temp.

Correct me if I am wrong ....please. anybody OK....adriana??? She's fine...... but not her husband.....man she deserves better man....maybe max ....but max needs to win bmw first......when that's the big question??????.............bwhua bhuahahahahah!!!!!!!!!

It's only useful to stay behind someone if your running a similar pace and cannot break them, last season Stoner just pulled huge gaps on everyone, it wouldn't have made sense for him to follow someone going half a second a lap slower.

yes riftan at 29 hes no spring chicken ! but old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill ! seriously i do feel it will be an uphill struggle to beat stoner in the championship this year , but definetely an achievable one, alot will depend on how good the yam is ..we know how good vale isbad luck and other riders aside i feel its between KC, dani, and vale this year , next year ? the rookies aint rookies!

I agree with Noddy a lot of things depends on the bikes, cause that Vale is good rider is stupid to talk about we all know it.I guess that the pressure is on both on Stoner and Vale, cause first is last year champion and from Rossi everyone allways expect to win.Of course you need a bit of luck too,not to get hurt and so on....I think that if Vales bike work fine we have nothing to worry about!!!

KC is big headed and we all know that.
He thinks Vale is not threat, well i understand that after Jerez test one second faster then him.
But Valentino is still master of GP, he does not reply to that wich means he wants to show KC on the track and then shut his mouth over media.
Great plan, we shall see what comes out.

well let stoner consider who ever he wants as his rival and contender.... it makes no difference... cos at the end of the day the championship can go to pretty much anybody...

as we have seen for the past two years... its the whole package... last year Yam failed cos of the tyres... and KC had the perfect bike... but then again we saw something like Assen... so its very difficult to predict rivals and title contender...

but then again... I HOPE THERE IS REAL RIVALRY AND A REAL FIGHT FOR THE TITLE WITH EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES... cos frankly I cant stand one more boring season...

I don't think KC believes in what he said, he would wish.
Last year the Yamaha had no topspeed to compeet the other bikes and therefore Rossi had to take, sometimes too much, risk. If Yamaha is more competitive, and they are, and Rossi races like he is used too than it will be a great show!

everybody just goes on saying that Casey's bike fits his riding style..many fans of Stoner see that as a compliment but i really don't!!i think it is offending rather than a compliment...i mean Rossi doesn't just wait for things to happen..he makes them happen.when he went from Honda to Yamaha he adjusted his riding style just to get the best out of it..but Stoner was lucky to be in the right team at the right time.some riders may never be lucky enough to find a bike to fit their style you know..
I was really angry with that statement too but it's because he is so afraid of him..everytime Rossi overtakes Stoner he just doesn't have the balls to fight back!!i remember Estoril,Motegi or Assen.i can't believe he didn't have the package to fight back,it just when you have Vale chasing you,too much for little Stoner to handle!!!
