- only one carcass construction will be available.
- there will be a limit on the number of tyres available for testing.
So 20 tyres to be use in one weekend

FP 1 and FP 2 - 2 fronts and 2 rears
FP 3 and QP - 2 fronts and 2 rears
Race day warm up - 1 front and 1 rear
Race - 1 front and 1 rear

It sounds ok because they still have 2 front and 6 rears to spare by my layman calculation. Thanks Jossi for the info

It's only okay, if they have picked the right tyres for the conditions i.e track temperaures and they haven't got any duffers.

Personally, I think it should be 40 per weekend, just to give themselves some leeway, and if Bridgestone can't supply them then there shouldn't be a single supplier rule - so there!

World Champion in 2008 and greatest rider EVER!

2008, it was Sunday, March 9

Ezpeleta said: “Changing the Qatar race to a night time schedule allows for a better synchronisation with European television schedules, where the race can be made available in the primetime Sunday slot. This is obviously a big boost for the broadcasters, and a landmark moment for MotoGP.”

2007, it was Saturday, March 10

Once the compound is chosen for the race weekend can't they change it?
