They've moved Donnie to the end of July - that's when most people in England go on holiday - including me, cos it's the start of the school holidays

Even if I'm not away, the roads will be even busier than usual with all the holiday traffic, making the trek harder than usual

Thats kinda late

Maybe they moved it beacuse of the weather, the chances for sunshine is a bit bigger in july dont you recon ?

I was crazed when the school closed about end of the may(without finals)

that is a real crap time of year isnt it

we were thinking of camping next year so at least we wont have to take the kids out of school.....but oh what a journey it will be

Yes, they only get 6 weeks Summer Hols - bummer! But as you say there is a slightly better chance of good weather in July.....

I know, my son goes mad cos all his cousins in Ireland get their hols at the beginning of June.

I grew up in Ireland so I never had to suffer the pain of being in school in June or July either

Yep, you'll need to set off a week early and stay a week late just to avoid the traffic jams

Still too many GPs for the riders.
One bad injury and the battle for the title is over.
Not good.

Well, they already thought about starting later because it being so cold in march in Qatar for the night race.
It is gonna be a hell of a long winterbreak especially with Valencia this year being the end of October instead of beginning of November

But as we still have 7 races ahead it is too early to think about winter break yet...

They weren't gonna go back to 17 races. Not when there is money to be made. Glad though that they have exchanged an oversea race with a European race. Good for us here in Europe

19 GPs is enough for our riders.
I know we won't go back to 17 races, but my question was about the new hungarian GP.
Will there be 20 races in 2009? And 21 in 2010?
I seriously wonder what is the meaning of a championship when Pedrosa, Lorenzo and even Capi score several DNSs just because we have one race every week.

Sometimes less show means a better show.
