So does this mean they have to do their practice starts within the one hour allotted for qualifying? That's a bit mean, isn't it?
Oh well, I guess they do them first to get them out of the way... It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar! Valentino Rossi: The smartest, cleverest, bestest, hottest, sexiest, sweetest, finest f**ker on the planet today.

Oh well, I guess they do them first to get them out of the way... | well, at Sachsenring they were all doing their practice starts right in front of us which was between the second to last and the last corner. It was out of the racing line. Don't know if they done it on qualifying too as at that time we were in the paddock and didn't see it at all Ivi Riding a race bike is an art -
a thing that you do because you feel something inside. Well deserved winter break! Relax, have fun and come back to fight again!!!

Sporting Regulations 1.21 Behaviour During Practice and Race 16) Practice starts are permitted at the pit lane exit before joining the track and after the chequered flag is shown at the end of practice sessions and warm ups, when it is safe to do so, off the racing line. I mean what if lots of the riders don't want to make any practice starts then and attempt to just ride out of the pit lane onto the track to get in their set up sorted out? How will they get by the riders who do want to make practice starts at the end of the pit lane exit?
I bet there'll be a pile up at least once in the practices of every race!
& god forbid someone getting in the way of Stoner from riding out of the pit lane exit to get to the track...he'll be kicking out constantly! Some more of the news to go with what Larisa posted above. MotoGP targets new Hungarian circuit
MotoGP organisers are considering adding the Hungarian Grand Prix to next year's calendar, at a new track that is now under construction.
Plans for the Balatonring circuit, which is to be built near Savoly, 100 miles from Budapest, were unveiled on Wednesday at a press conference attended by Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta.
Dorna has asked motorcycle racing's governing body, the FIM, for the event to be considered for next year's schedule. Angela O from Liverpool-England XXXXxxxxxx (first registered 30/9/2002) | | First Lieutenant | | Posts: 2,325 Join Date: 28.02.2007 Location: France

I think at the moment it's only the Shanghai GP that will be omitted from the calendar. They have said rumours about Sepang but inside info said Sepang will be continuing the contract for at least another 3 years. 2008 - VALE CONQUERED Qatar-5th, Jerez 2nd, Estoril 3rd, Shanghai 1st, Le Mans 1st, Mugello 1st, Catalunya 2nd, Donnington 2nd, Assen 11th, Sachsenring 2nd, Laguna Seca 1st, Brno 1st, Misano 1st, Indy 1st, Motegi 1st- 2008 World Champ , P.I 2nd, Sepang 1st, Valencia 3rd - 2008 World Champion | | Junior Sergeant Major | | Posts: 714 Join Date: 04.07.2007 Location: istanbul Age: 21
