poor Marco, getting kicked out so soon!? thats unfair, he doesnt want to fail after all purposely, the team should continue to try something for him. i wished he'd stayed in that satellite honda, which was way better

I feel bad for him too, i thought he would be more happy and competitive at ducati team!!! he was more better at honda!!!
I agree with you, the team has to do something else to him, it's unfair!! they are just now concentrating on KC....

I also realy feel for him but on a brighter note it does seem its also to his advantage as he has said how unhappy he is , at least he wont have to buy his way out this way and gets to put it behind him more quickly

can't wait for the new season to begin not moving from here 'til it does!

Dorna Sports has announced that the 2008 MotoGP World Championship will be the last to be broadcast by Eurosport.

"After many years of successful collaboration, MotoGP rights-holders Dorna Sports would like to announce that coverage of the MotoGP World Championships will no longer be available on Eurosport from the 2009 season," read a statement from Dorna.

"Dorna would like to thank Eurosport for a partnership which has been of mutual benefit for several years, having helped take MotoGP to new levels of popularity and coverage whilst also offering the pan-European broadcaster impressive viewing figures.

"The decision is part of Dorna's new strategy of working with national network broadcasters around Europe, always focusing first and foremost on free-to-air coverage to bring MotoGP to wider audiences.

"This means that in the UK, the BBC will enjoy exclusive coverage of MotoGP next year, whilst in Spain and Italy, where MotoGP enjoys long-term agreements with TVE and Mediaset respectively, negotiations are ongoing about extending coverage to more hours during the weekend.

"In Germany, a deal has been signed with a privately owned free-to-air channel, giving the commercial network exclusive coverage for three years until 2011. Meanwhile, negotiations are ongoing in France and other major European territories with various mainstream networks; further details will be announced shortly."

The British Eurosport commentary line-up of Toby Moody, Julian Ryder and former 500cc star Randy Mamola is considered one of the best in the business, while Eurosport's extensive live coverage often includes all three days at each grand prix.

The BBC will be broadcasting both F1 and MotoGP next season, with F1 certain to be given preference in the event of a clash.

Sigh, no point giving it to a free to air channel that doesn't give it full coverage! If I have to put up with the dull bbc commentary all season I will lose the will to live. I guess this means annoying interactive 125 and 250 coverage too, if they don't take Toby and Jules over then I will protest!

BBC show 125, 250 & I think 800 on interactive with the same commentary as motogp.com. There will be no clash, Moto will just be on interactive or BBC3. The same way that Wimbledon is now.

So you won't have to "suffer" Suzi Perry (I'd suffer her anyday) or Coxey & Parrish.

It's still pretty poor compared to the Eurosport coverage, I guess it's the end of televised free practice over here too.

Maybe not, I think wth exclusivity the Beeb might be persuaded to show Friday, they already show qualifying if it's on a Saturday afternoon, all on interactive (but with Parrish & Coxey). The weak link I guess is Assen & Qatar, Laguna etc, no qualifying coverage for those. That is why I subscribe to motogp.com, among other piratical reasons.

It's still better than nothing, or American coverage.
