NEW SURVEY Will new leader Lorenzo be able to pull away from Pedrosa? Yes: 6011 No: 6727 I voted no... putting Estoril at the start of the season was to pull a swifty I think, and that at the moment, Michelin guys are doing better than they will long term. Also, KC has a tonne of tracks coming up that he does well on... I think Jorge will be getting a big piece of whip ass pie to chew on as the season unfolds... It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar! Sorry, love, haven't logged on since it's changed...
I realised I didn't really answer the question... I talked about Jorge's general chances as opposed to his chances over Dani... dunno... Dani doesn't seem to have that hunger every single race... he doesn't seem to go out to win, every single time... Jerez, the way he rode, Sachsenring last year... but you don't see that every week from him... Jorge might have more hunger, race in, race out, to push it to the limit... but then, having said that, as they hate each other, seeing Jorge in front of him might make Dani pull his finger out more often..
Also, unless Michelin have actually improved, it might be about who ends up chewing their tyres the most quickly/the worst... It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar! I really dont know why they changed looks of motogp web site. To be honest I do not like it, now it looks like all other web sites, but before that it was an original place and it was more easy to find stuff and looks was like a real motorcycling page. Im will miss the old motogp web.
Ivonnsche good question I was also trying to find surveys?! | | DIVA | | Posts: 2,209 Join Date: 01.07.2007 Location: Sydney, Australia

Yep, I can't find it either on the new site.
I agree, Culi, the new site is very generic, isn't it? And the old one added "hello" next to your user name. Annoying part is, they don't have a site map, so even if the survey's are tucked away somewhere, you don't stand a great chance of finding them.
On the good side, it now allows internet expolorer to remember you when you go to the site... before you always had to log on... such a bore if you were in a rush to get to footage or something... and it would often log you out... you'd have to start over. THAT was really annoying.
So, who else is annoyed that they've dropped the survey's? I liked them... (though not many people around here seemed to agree... this thread was turning into a Catty blog...though admittedly, the first few survey's were a total snore fest.)
The rider section is better... very nice photo of VR with his birthday cake helmet on the first page of his bio. Great photo highlighting his racing colours in the sun. Though I notice his height is creeping up... he's now 182cm...
So, the hunt is on. If the survey's exist, someone's gotta find them. If they don't, motogp.com need to get their act together. It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar! i looked at every inch of that site, and couldnt see a little sign of the surveys. dont think they still exist.
leave alone the surveys, its really hard to find something that you're looking for, its all messed up. they should improve the new site immediately.... | | Senior First Lieutenant | | Posts: 2,631 Join Date: 03.07.2007 Location: tired in Germany Age: 33

I really can't get to grips with the new site - perhaps once I get used to it more I will be OK but at the moment it just seems such a mess and things are all over the place and hard to find. There doesn't seem to be a lot of logic in the layout. | | Sergeant | | Posts: 133 Join Date: 08.11.2007 Location: UK, England Age: 16

it look more like eurosport web page. It's like with new honda CBR 1000RR 2008, you have to shoot designer who made such a horrible look on a bike (everyone has his own opinion), and I hope that someone of the motogp reads these posts, and values our sugestion and change it the old whay especialy with people who are a long long long time (as me) on the motogp.
P.S. Some thing are better unchanged so PLEASE bring the old look back
