Default Yamaha - Lorenzo - 11.01.2008, 22:57

All through the year 2007. we witnessed Vale struggling with his bike. I mean, you can't have it your way all the time but this was to much.

This leads me to the following questions:

1. Is Yamaha prepared for this year - will they deliver a set up worthy of the greatest MotoGP rider in recent history?

2. How will Lorenzo's character affect this new team. He is entitled to fight and win of course, but will he watch Doc's back if needed (remember Pedrosa-Hayden episode) ?

1 question: well.. this is the question of the questions.. there is no doubt vale will be ready to fight.. but will famaha be ready... start praying!

2. question: well I can't see lorenzo anywhere near vale the next year
I mean colin wasn't (most of the time) and he was 3 years rididng that bike..

1st question: We will only know when the season starts! The test... well, last season Vale's Yam seemed to be ok, but then, you all know what happened!

2nd question: I think that Lorenzo will do all he can to win but he still has to get used to the bike. We'll see great races and positions fight, but I'm not sure if he will "protect" Vale if he needs! And we can't forget that they're using different tyres and are separated but still working as a team (at least, that's what Yam said)!

The tyre isse is what worries me! I think that Michelin will say to Lorenzo does what he can and what he cannot to beat Vale's 'stones because they're riding the same bikes, so if Lorenzo does better, Michelin takes the credit!

Let's see!

I thought tha Vale's Yam would kick all other bikes on track because it did well on tests! And then all that cr*p happened and Stoner ended WC!

I DO NOT want to see it again!

I wouldn`t worry about Lorenzo now, he`s very ambitious, but there`s no way for him to compete with Vale, especially in his first season. The bigger trouble is Yam. I hope that they still remember 2007 and the sad memory makes them work even harder. At least I`m happy that we`re going to race with Bridgestones. But please God, make the 2008 engine as good as possible (and put a little bug in the Ducati )!

good idea..
why not stick with the running out of fuel habit.. maybe refine it a bit though... so it will happen about a lap earlier..
