On races! Because Capis has more experience than Casey, so if their bikes were iquals Capis would've had a better position!

And I don't think that on his second season he'd improved enough to be WC (comparing with his 2006 season).

In 2006 Capis was 3rd!

But maybe Casey improved a lot and Capis didn't get used to his Duke!

i think we r all comin back to square one here....Dnt tell me we have a problem in accepting Stoner as a champion...ok the duke did make the difference...but the kid iz good and the package was just too good. If Vale didnt have all those problems last year i truely belive that he would have won it....but it wouldnt have been easy....coz the bloody package was that good. let the kid have 2007....i think we should b doin what Vale is doin right now....lookin towards Qatar....Pay Back time....

So basically Stoner rode the GP7 better than Capirossi and won more races?

Patience friendz...patience....

This season is definatly not going to be easy for everybody. I agree Casey will continue to do well and only the best can stop him.

Perhaps because he was so fast when testing the 800, he didn't show any of that kind of speed all year. It may have been his motivation, we will see this year.

Well, Stoner did make a huge improvment in terms that he actually stayed on the bike in most of the races (if I remember corectly he was pretty much in KO mode in 2006.), but in a fact it was the Ducati that made it all possible (the machine really clicked perfectly and was supported with great tires).

He cannot of course be compared to Vale, because he simply hasn't earned that yet.

You put a deceant bike under that 46 and we're back in business, and Stoner will have to take his place in the long line along with the rest of them.

Something like an assumption).
Take Dani as an example! He's improving! It's more consistent!

Well, you did hear KC's name in 2006 but mainly as in: "And he crashed out of the race again!"

I absolutely agree, Velo! And the bike also only have to be halfway decent and competible, the other 50% Vale can make up with his riding skills (although I'd obviously preferred the bike to be 100% and him having it easier next year )

I'm very sure that vale and his bike will be 100% competitive this year. Just wait for the launching of 2008 M1 and the testing that they'll be doing. Vale's gonna set the track on fire and the ducs will be hot red keeping their pace
