Yup, that's the one Maree. You sit inside the soundproff glasses on top of the paddock and normally each major teams will have their vip right on top of their paddocks especially ducati bike owners.

Yes you can sneak in if the guards aren't looking provided the team crew also doesn't shoo you off. I always get particpants passes coz my friend races in the superbike support races so i kind roam around without being notice.

Anytime maree, just give me a tinkle if you're here and looking forward to see you there too coz next year I'm trying to get the journalist pass so that I can go around taking pics of vale.

Han how much do the VIP tickets cost. We are hopefully going to Sepang next year, rather a few of us Aussie's going.

I'll try and check for you but from what i know the VIP passes are under the discretion of Sepang F1 Circuit, Dorna and the teams. But I'll try and check for you.

However the mall area ticket are RM 100 for three days (AUS 30) and the pit walkabout pass is RM 100 too. I'll try and check whether they have VIP packages.

The mall area is the best place to watch because the seatings are back to back where you can see the front straight and the back of the circuit and you have about 900 meters to walk and choose you favourite spot to watch the race.

Thanks Han. One of the reasons I am trying Sepang this year is because of the cost.
For what I paid for my family to go to Phillip Island we could have gone to Sepang with the OS trip thrown in. My husband loves Malaysia and I am looking forward to going.
