@ Mel...no those were not done by me, they where a set of 5 prints on canvas but had to be sold as a single lot (the person who donated them insisted on that). The most one of my paintings sold for was for £4000....the others sold for less than this....but all together the paintings I did donate sold for a lot of money!!! I did 8 in total I think for the 2007 Day of Champions, it could have been 9 or more, I lose count these days.
This year I was asked by a friend in the USA to find out if it's possible to have proxy bids or telephone bids from foreign bidders who are unable to get to the Day of Champions and make their own bids on paintings & other items.....it appears that Riders for Health are willing to do this, just as long as the postage of the items is arranged by the winning bidder, as it is difficult to get items delivered here carrying suitable insurance cover for any damages that may occur during transit.
So if anyone is wanting to bid on items at the auction, well it seems that now you will be able to do just that, even if you are not at the Say of Champions!
