If you had to pick one rider who you think will be the 'casey stoner' of 2007, who would it be?

Mine would be Dani Pedrosa. I think it could potentially be Marco Melandri but I don't think he's that consistent. I reckon the pressure will get to Casey Stoner.

i think with the way casey and ducati dominated this year, they are clearly the favorite in 2008. marco on a ducati could be scary too.

It could be Dovizioso ... but it's only his first season in Moto GP, so he will certainly be a bit younger to become world champion ...

It could also be Melandri, it will be interesting to see him on the Ducati.
For me, Pedrosa isn't quite aggressive to be the "new Stoner" ...

Marco and Casey and maybe Lorenzo.

Maybe Toseland if Yam Tech 3 improves!

Slow bike, non competitive tyres, and ofcourse team who says we will try to imrpove and then brings the new untested stuff to race track.

I reckon Pedrosa. The RC212V has the pace now and Pedrosa is enjoying the bike - it's a winning combination. The only little problem with Pedrosa is that if he has a glitch or an off or something isn't quite right on the bike, he loses his confidence really quickly and it shows.

I say Marco Melandri and Dani Pedrosa.but with a competitive package no one is going to be able to be a threat to Vale and The King will dominate again!!!!

I agree with you aswell.
If Vale is on a bike that is working well there will be no real threat
