That bike has a great electronics, so he feels comftorble on it.
They developed that kind of engine for years wich finaly paid off as you can see.
But the reasson why KC is unstopble is he feels good on that bike.
It suits his riding style. Look at this way, bridgestone provides him good competitive tyres wich he can really put in use the whole race till the finish line not just 8 laps before the end of race.
Second he has a fast bike. Every time he comes on that straight he knows he will make up the time he has lost in the corrners. Maybe not whole time but never the less.
Third all riders who can really, really opose him are on Michelline.That means if it rains, he has no competition, if it's not warm enough again competition is weak, if the temperature is to high Michelline will eat itself.If the temperature is right Michelline needs 4 laps to get warm enough to preform well so he has a time to make a good start and make some good times. After that every rider has time till the 8 laps before the end to make advantage good enough to stop KC beating them. But we all saw what happend to Edwards in Doni, KC didn't needed to try hard, he just waited till the tyre of Edwards runs out.
And most important Ducati bows to riders wishes. They are not used in winning the championships so they try, work hard for a rider. If he demands something they work their ass of to give it to him.
All it's left is just a little skill he needs, and little luck.
If Valentino was on a good tyres whole year he would be in fight for tittle till the last race. Only good tires. so this is one thing always crossed my mind about dukes, is it legal? I'm afraid they're illegal. dorna only checked in the start of the year, then let go? MotoGP: Nicky Hayden worried by Valentino Rossi’s Bridgestone switch

Former MotoGP world champion Nicky Hayden fears Valentino Rossi’s switch to Bridgestone tyres in 2008 will make it tougher for Michelin to fight back next season. Bridgestone now has Valentino Rossi and new world champion Casey Stoner using its tyres in 2008, and Nicky Hayden believes the Italian’s departure could weaken Michelin’s capability to retaliate after a nightmare 2007 campaign.
Michelin won just six races in 2007, while Bridgestone romped to 12 victories, with 10 of those coming from dominant factory Ducati rider Casey Stoner. Nicky Hayden and Repsol Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa also pushed for Bridgestone tyres next season, but HRC agreed to continue with Michelin after a request was rejected.
Valentino Rossi did successfully manoeuvre a deal to Bridgestone tyres, and he will make his debut on the Japanese rubber in Jerez, Spain later this month.
And American Nicky Hayden is concerned development will suffer at Michelin with Valentino Rossi gone. “I think he’s (Rossi) had a lot of problems with tyres. I hope Michelin improves because we can’t have another year like we had this year.
“ Part of me wishes he would just stay on Michelin. He’s really good at developing  the tyres and one more guy over at Bridgestone developing isn’t going to help,” said the 26-year-old. Nicky Hayden though did admit Valentino Rossi’s move would give Michelin an extra incentive to wrestle back the world title.
He added: “ It’s going to be big motivation for Michelin. He’s won on Yamaha, he’s won on Honda, but he’s only won on Michelin.”
And Nicky Hayden believes Valentino Rossi will be under severe pressure to seriously threaten Stoner in 2008 now that he has the same tyres as the Australian.
“ He’s already taking heat from it. He’s got to make it work,”   ( Vale will make it!! )added Hayden, who got his first ride on Honda’s new 2008 factory RC212V 800 machine in Valencia this week.

waow...hayden makes me suprised..ı think it will be more comfortable for rossi to switch to bridgestone..and ı'm look forward to next year..we'll see what will rossi do with bridgestone and also michelin.(ı wonder a lot..) I never thought it would be possible for me to believe such thing as love exists anymore.. but I'm starting to question that...
