Default Max Biaggi - 23.09.2007, 00:24

I'd like to see Max return to MotoGP. Why not? I think he got a bad rap in the movie: 'Faster'. Julian and the other journalists made him out to be a spoiled kid with an inferiority complex. What about his talent as a rider? My oppinions about him and the other MotoGP riders have changed. They really are all champions, all heroes at some point in their careers, or they would never have gotten a chance to ride in the GP. If you have ever put on a set of leathers and taken your motorcycle out on the track, you know what I'm talking about.

When you see a hairpin turn ahead and you're doing 100+ MPH, it gives you some understanding, and some respect for these GP riders.

Baylis left the GP after several tough seasons and immediately dethroned Corser, who'd dominated for years. Biaggi is really trying hard in WSB this year too.

Max was a front-runner before Vale came along and trounced him w. the 500cc bike, then with the RC211V, and again w. the M1. To top it off, Max lost his Camel sponsorship to Vale.

That must have been a bitter pill for poor Max.

I'd like to see him give it a go again in MotoGP. Also anxious to see how Capirex, Marco and Hopkins do with their new bikes next year.

Bottom line is that I think we should encourage and support all of the riders, whether they win or not. Every champion needs a few good rivals.

Where would Rainey or Schwantz be without eachother to battle? Kocinsky and Doohan were mad-men on those 2 stroke beasts.
Then there was McCoy w. his sliding style... You gotta love that stuff.

Rossi is a God among motorcyclists. Anyone who disputes that doesn't know about motorcycles or racing. But if MotoGP is to continue and grow as a professional sport, we need to recognize the efforts of all the riders.

The closer the other riders are to Vale, the more exciting it is when he wins the championship (and he will win it again !).

Of course the new tire and motor restrictions have reduced some of the prior excitement, but that will change as technology improves.

Now what I would really like to see is a total ban on traction control. I want to see these machines wheelie and slide around like they did a few years ago. In the mean time, bring Biaggi back. Let him talk some trash, try to start another punch-up in the podium stairway. So long as nobody gets hurt, its great! Cheers.

Max does have a very good talent indeed, I'd rank him in the top 5 best racers in the world today....but it's not about Max coming back into MotoGP is it, it's more like who would employ him to ride in the MotoGP?

& in answer to that question - That's why he's in WSB isn't it!!!!

I am a fan of the way Max can ride a bike. He is a great rider. He seems settled in SuperBikes now though and doing very well.

Do you think he would want to come back to MotoGP??

I wouldn't mind at all if he did. I loved watching him and Valentino go at it.

That would be interesting indeed. But I also heard that Max is asking for a big raise from the WSB team he's currently with. Seems unlikely that Ducati would dump Stoner or Melandri for Max, but one never knows. Racing... Its not for the faint-hearted.

Wow! What news! Old times...
Well, it`ll be something great... It`ll add Vale joy from racing and will give him a chance to give out all his negative energy: remember his quarrels with Max afterraces? It was a perfect time to calm down!

Hi guys certain that it would be nice review an Max Biaggi NEW in GP bike, and that can play on a par with Valentino. It would be a return to the old times, but I doubt that Dorna Puig AND COMPANY want a return so?
