Are you going to Phillip Island this year?? I am going to the Island and then on to Sepang again this year. Its great over there and at the Island!!

Yes Phillip Island for sure taking the whole family, My 2 boys love Vale us much as me. i can't wait.

I want to ride with some mates but the wife won't drive that far with the kids so its caging for me.

It is a long way to drive, especially with little ones on board. My husband isn't into the bikes so he stays home. He tapes the races for me, which is really good, as that way I get to see all the race, because sometimes you miss things when you are there. He watches the races but isn't into actually going to a race. He goes fishing, or worm drowning as that is probably more correct!!

We are staying 1 street down from the pub!! Which is good for getting home at night!! Where are you guys staying? We must all catch up. There are a few others from here going down to the Island as well. We all usually get together somewhere over the weekend.

Last year coming back from Sepang to Phillip Island we had Valentino on our flight!! Which was great. Then his luggage took forever to come thru, poor bugger, so he had to sign autographs whilst waiting for his gear. I got my cap signed on the plane and an old Aprilia photo from 1999 at the Island also signed. So I was very happy!! We got to se and talk to a few riders over there so it was a good trip, which is why we are doing it again this year.

We haven't found a place yet so I better get on to that this week. My wife doesn't watch MotoGP or SBK but she wants to see the kids enjoying getting close to the action. We are taking them to Queensland Raceway for the Aussie SBK on July 1st, we have a group heading up for that.

My boys will be wearing their Rossi T shirts all weekend I reckon down on the Island.

Yes you had better get onto getting somewhere to stay and soon!! The kids will love it at the Island, there is so much to see and hear!! They'll fit right in with their Rossi shirts as most people there wear them all weekend too. Will they be lining up to try and get a Valentino autograph do you think??

I never had a bike of my own just sat on the back of them! It seemed everyone had one when I was younger. My very first boy friend, way back when, had a Norton Commando 750, and I just loved it, probably one of the reasons I actually went out with him now that I think about it!!
My Dad raced side car and rode bikes on his young days, he had Triumphs, so I think that is where both my brother and I got the love of bikes from. Although my brother went on from a Honda to a Harley!! Now as a Postie he rides a little Honda every day at work.

Russell, thats my husband, he has always watched the Super bikes on the TV and always liked Colin Edwards and Mick Doohan, but never really got that interested. Me I'm a Magee fan than a Doohan fan. Hey but then again I also like Max Biaggi!!

I stated riding tail bikes when I was 15 and had to stop @ 18 due to my then 1st wife, I got remarried at 29 and about 2 years ago back into bikes but this time road bikes at 41 and haven't gotten the smile off my face since.

In 1996 I was in London and saw a very young Valentino and I knew then he would be the greatest. I better you like watching Fox Sports with Kevin each week?

This will be our first trip to the Island.

You'll love it there. Bring clothes for all sorts of weather though!! They get all 4 seasons in a day at the Island.

I love listening to Magee on Fox!! Now he has that new toy too, he 's happy! I met him at the Island last year and he is awesome.
