not that I care that much (for me it's just Rossi

), but I don't know if that'll be that a good thing for him. Ducati is a bike whose characteristics doesn't fit everybody.

he risks being the new Melandri: loosing respect and loosing a lot of money when results will force him to accept a new contract with the lowest possible pay.

I think along the same lines as you. I'll bet the Ducati will be far better suited to his riding style than the current Honda he rides.

Time will tell.

I hope he does really well at Ducati - he deserves a break, but not so well that he keeps beating Vale, just well enough to beat Stoner a lot!

anyway, if he really gets along with the bike and Ducati manages to keep his (more or less) slight edge over the lot we could assist to some races with first and second positions hold by the same factory, like it often happens in F1.

but I thought this way even back then when Melandri moved to Ducati :-).

In my opinion Nicky has nothing to lose. His situation just can`t get any worst then that. I bet he`s feeling miserable in Repsol. Champ in 2006 and the next year he gets a bike designed for a person who weights at least 10kilos less. This is a joke!

he won the championship thanks to a number of coincidence who hardly could repeat themselves in one thousand year.

next year Honda wanted -and needed- to battle for championship without having to hope to win another national lottery. to do that they simply needed a better driver. which they did happen to have.

the new bike was simply designed around the best driver Honda could rely on.
