I posted the first paragraph of this in the related thread in announcements as well as i saw that first.
Am i missing something? It doesn't mention this site, it could just be that they are warning about other sites - this isn't the only one you find if you are looking on the net for anything about Valentino Rossi. I don't think its terrible that they are just giving a warning, or am i being naive?
Sure they are a bit cheeky with the push of their own site, but self advertising in their own paper can be expected. I don't think thats anything too serious. Though in fairness a lot of the little blurb articles like this that I see in MCN I don't take too seriously, it's usually kind of clear when they are adding in their own opinion type thing (like use our site) in review of the 'factual' info they have been talking about. So all I'd take from the article is that you have to be careful with some sites u visit. (But hey, thats to be expected nowadays unfortunately) Wasn't there something like this posted before about Valentino Rossi links being spyware or something? I'd say they are just giving a similar warning like that. The thing about celebrities official sites being hacked may not refer to this official forum, just be taken from McAfee's statement that they find more problems with celeb sites.
