The younger you are when using it all the better it'll work for you.....when I was biting my finger nails during MotoGP races I tried it, I soon enough realised if I wiped the awful taste off my tongue onto my sleeve I could carry on chewing away at my nails..... funny how kids never think of doing that sort of thing isn't it? |
Sadly she worked that one out years ago - lick the stuff off quickly and get it over with. Tried bandaging it up and she just sucked the other one. Bandaged both up and she sucked it with the bandages. Tried getting her older brother to make fun of her (wasn't difficult) just made life miserable for us all.
I used to suck the first 2 fingers on my left hand - really badly - until I fell off my bike and took all the skin off them (no, really, ALL the skin

)They were splinted and bandaged up for weeks and it was really painful. When the bandages came off I never sucked them again....It is sometimes tempting but I would never do that to her.
(On the other hand I have often wondered if I really fell off my bike or was I pushed???)
I think we will just have to hope she sorts it out for herself one day and try not to grind my teeth down completely with rage in the meantime.
