Watching the games is great....

The opening was magnificent...

I'm gonna miss watching those games when the Olympics end...

Did you see a picture of the little one considered "not cute " enough?? She was just like a little child should be.. missing a tooth and everything, she was gorgeous..your average everyday kid..

Even my husband commented on the fact that she was more "normal" than the one choosen..


I'm betting that the one who did the miming is the child of some high up Official..

yes i did she was really cute......how must that poor girl be feeling?......and the girl who mimmed cant have any feeling of pride......two young girls with screwed up ideas at such an early stage in there lives .....all in the spirit of the olympics ......charming........i wont be watching it!!

I saw on the TV last night, on an a Current Affairs show here, where they are now having some sort of competition now to see which Country has the best looking atheletes.. How damn ridiculous is that!! I thought the Olympics was all about Sport not who looks the best!

I haven't bothered with the Olympics at all. Here we get how wonderful / beautiful / amazing /glamourous Stephanie Rice is, she did get 3 Gold Medals, but she and her Boy friend , another Olympic swimmer, "split" just before the games and it was front page news. They "split" so as to concentrate on winning.. Thats all we have been hearing ..How they split up but are still "friends"
As if they couldn't swim and have a relationship..

you rant as much as you like im right there with you here we have to watch people like Paula Ratcliff setting herself up for yet another fall the pressure on these athletes is intense bordering on obcene but like you say the sportsmanship side of things is laughable

That Paula Radcliff gets on my nerves big time. Twice she's got to run at the Olympics....knowing too well she can't perform, so why prevent someone else who can at least try from having their attempt... just because she's done well in other competitions in the past.....she should have to earn her place in the run up to the games like other athlete's do.

totally with you on that one Angela same with that stupid boxer....cant remember his name....trained for 4 yrs and got sent home for being 1lb over his weight .....wtf was he thinking its no different to Vale having too much fuel in his tank i had absolutely no sympathy for him.....btw if Vale ever did get caught with too much fuel i would obviously belooking for one of his crew to blame

I have nothing against the Olympic Games.
But where are all those people saying:
"We need to boycott these games in the name of Human rights for the Tibetans." Pfff yeah right! Always the same story... blah, blah,... blah, blah,... blah, blah, blaaaaahhh...
It makes me laugh how some person can be so hypocritical!
