Something had happen from us and the Fanclub.

From many years ago, the fanclub never change the thinking about how much important are and how many fans form internet Vale he has.
It's the same battle we fight against some small brain that thinks (litteraly said to an user who called the fanclub last month):" The fans of the web are people that haven't no others fuck to do! We don't care the forum and we think it's better all the people goes outside the door in the real world."

This is the thinking from 10 years more.
But now it's the time that the yellow people let them listen how many we are!!!

We start today to write a comment in the official blog, where the fanclub has deleted the officiality about our forum, cause they think the complaints of some admin (me and Valentinik over all) after the call of our user and the answer he received, are a problem for the fanclub executives.

(Sure that the complaints are a problem! You can bet on! A fanclub can't send an answer as they did !!!!)

So, under the "New letter to the YellowCommunity" written by the fanclub staff (mmm..the staff? I think one of the staff and I think I know very well who is...), the comments against the fanclub, they were many and many again....but all they were deleted from the fanclub staff!

Then Valentinik asked to the fanclub to hold all comments, cause it's deeply unfair what they were doing.

And now they are preserving all comments, but they thinks we are not so much users and the comments will be not so much.

So all italian people we call on, and we start to write there

It's important you will write the comment, but not for the admins or mods: but for all the fans of Vale and for some blind executive in the fanclub.

I personally do not want to cause any problems for the Fan Club.

I have not had any problems with them myself and feel that this action will only antagonise them even more. To inundate them with messages like this will only mean that they will not have the time or inclintation to deal with any other enquiries.

I do not feel that we need to have the Official status.

What really is the issue that is being fought over?

i think it's a great idea, MAK. I will support this.

as i've said many times before, i dont want to piss anyone off....if it doesnt affect me or the people i care about then so be it....

I personally think that it is important for us to at least let the fan club know how many we are-the fans who gatheren through the internet. Even though that wudn't directly affect our activity here. But as Jrcrambs and Tammerz said we dont have the intention to piss anybody off, including the fanclub. What i think we should do was to make them realize we are here as our supports for Vale. Since their-i mean the fanclub-existance was also to support Vale. Then we all shouldnt make any fight between each other. I'm wondering how we cud do this without pissing them off. Any idea...?

Nobody can decide whats official and what isn't, All of Valentino's fan are on this forum.
Even if the official link is broken, The forum is not going anywhere so what difference does it make. Things will still be the same.

A fanclub is for fans, If they want to break ties with the fans, then its just a club, So they are the big losers in this.

I'm totaly lost with the reasons for the fanclub wanting to cut ties with the forum, and i don't want to get caught up in arguments that have not involved me.I read mak's letter regarding the fanclub staff being rude towards forum members. I have telephoned the fanclub many many times, the first time i spoke to a nice Italian staff member, who said to phone back on the wed afternoon as there would be an english speaking staff member.I did phone and she was more than helpful, that day and the other times i have phoned. It would be a pity if we lost the "official" as there are other fanclubs out there, but this is the only one valentino recognise's. Let's continue to show our support and love for valentino, he's the only reason we are all here with or without the "OFFICIAL" title.

Yeah, MAK, you have my support. I loathe elitism and cliques... and it sounds like the fanclub are way too precious for their own good. As a depressive agoraphobe, I resent intensely being told that I have no right to be a Rossi fan. Don't they know that you can get Rossi stuff through the post? Hello?
And we don't all have the luxury of living in Tavullia, or, hell, even Italy... do they want VR's fanbase only local or something?
From what I've seen at the races... his fan club is run by a bunch of tubby, middle aged men, who patently have nothing else in their lives but the very important role they play in the world of Valentino Rossi. It's obviously gone to their heads and it's laughable that they are flinging mud at the internet fanbase for pretty much the same thing.

And again, I really loathe this possessiveness of VR that exists... like they have more rights to him or something. Just daft.

Personally, I don't give a rat's a** about "official"... not like Rossi has bothered to say... film a little video as a greeting for us or anything, that plays on the site... or a letter from him that welcomes new fans... as in a generic, single one that just gets used repeatedly.(Not individual responses to every new member... before anyone gets touchy.)

But a principle is at stake. One group have dared to decree (from the sounds of things... yes, english is a bit dodgy here and there!) that they are better than another. Because they dont' use the internet. Okayyyyy.
