not everyone is going to agree with your opinion, thats why its an OPINION and not a fact. But denigrating someone for their opinion is the worst kind of bigotry, and I AM NOT pointing this at anyone in particular but at all of us collectively. I care about all of you and this Forum, I hate seeing it become just like any other forum on the web. The difference in my OPINION between this forum and the rest is what i originally thought was a mutual respect for eachother and a true bond (VALE) that brought all of us together in the first place. But I'm beginning to feel that this is just like any other forum on the web. and i find that sad....
sorry this was so rambling....

Seriously, i don't know why you are dumbfounded.
I have always believed that people should be able to disagree without it becoming a personal vendetta. At the same time, i believe people should have the right to be themselves and not conform to what others think they should be. Have I ever deviated from this?
I wrote a post agreeing with what MAK had written. It wasn't directed at anyone on this forum, it was about the fanclub. But it seems to have been taken personally, so if anyone is dumbfounded... it's me. A provocative reply is written... and a person has two choices... ignore like they have been doing, or defend. I chose the latter because I'm sick of this bullying. I don't make any claims on perfection. All I ask is that we give each other some lattitude to have some flaws, have some differences, without it being a big f**king deal.
You don't like swearing... so what. Is that worth having a fight over? Or is it more than swearing? It really is incredible isn't it!
But yes, Jossik, it seems there is now a chance that things are going to be so much better from now on. All sweetness and light. Won't that be nice . | | DIVA | | Posts: 2,209 Join Date: 01.07.2007 Location: Sydney, Australia

No.
The fanclub don't cares italian fans, and you think they will care a fan from where....ah..cambridgeshire...they don't know where are the town outside 150km more, from Tavullia!!!!!
And why do I have ( I say "I" as "we") a good look for the fanclub?
They are giving any money? Are they running very fast to Valentino saying:"Mak is bad!!"??
Will the forum suffer a bomb-action by George Dabliu??
Bullshits.... Non cercare di diventare un uomo di successo, ma piuttosto un uomo di valore.

Mak, can i ask...Uccio, does his father not help run the fanclub??? if so, then surely Vale must be aware of how things are run in the fanclub, and the attitudes of the staff running it.... Without the fans, these sad, arrogant little people would have no "SELF IMPORTANCE".....and as a paid up member, i think i can express my opinion. "When i get on my bike, i do it to ride to victory! And I think the biggest problem here, from what you've said in previous posts, is this has been going on for YEARS. No wonder you're fed up and angry.
Dee asked if Uccio's father has any involvement... I have no idea... but I'm curious about those who hold positions in the fanclub. Are they elected? Or, if appointed, do they have a set term? It seems that they just need cleaning out every few years... new blood, new ideas, new attitudes. And no room for complacency or arrogance or contempt towards other fans.
cb_46 posted in the Marco Melandri thread something Marco had written on his website. A great example of entering the IT age. Why is Valentino so behind the times?
(I forgot to tick the box to quote MAK's post... but that's what I'm answering, lol.) It's taken one and a half racing seasons, but finally, Rossi has broken Stoner... and smashed him like a guitar! When the book "what if i'd never tried it" was written, according to Vale himself, Uccio's dad was involved in the Fan Club, what the status is now i'm not certain. Are you thinking what I'm thinking that I think that you're thinking I'm thinking because if you think that I think what I think I'm thinking then we've got a problem?
