I visit the forums of other riders, and they all seem to have a section where that rider writes a story about the last race / next race things they may be up to in their "of" time etc..
Here we don't get that, who cares if we are "official" or not!! Its a group of Valentino Fans who chat together about Valentino so do we really need "Official" to do that!!
What does the "Official" Fan Club do on here?? I have never noticed them do anything!!
As for us all being people who need to get a life outside of our computers, I think that if you took a poll, you would find that the majority of people on here do have, jobs, families, careers etc etc.. to keep them occupied. Its just that as fans we"find" time to talk about Valentino on here with other like minded people from all over the world.
We just need to stick together and we'll be ok. Life is far too short to be arguing the toss about stuff we can't change.
So ended the lesson!! Sorry got a bit carried away there.. | | Executive Director | | Posts: 335 Join Date: 20.12.2007 Location: malaysia Age: 28

So it doesn't hurt if you try. I don't think we annoy anybody for voicing it out because they're not using any harm words.

The fan club can do what they like..
It's not going to affect how or where i post..
I'm the opposite, i don't care if i piss off the fanclub..
The fanclub think they are Valentino..
And they take their sweet time sending out fan club merchandise people paid for 6 months ago..

Exactly. The fanclub should NEVER antogonize fans, not the other way round.
Many fans who paid for their memberships emailed fanclub. But they seldom reply. They keep people waiting and the stuff takes forever to be delivered. And to think we are supporting the fastest man on earth. Excellente! | | First Administrator from 2002 | | Posts: 778 Join Date: 02.04.2002 Location: ITALY Age: 46

I'm sorry again for my english....
I think that someone of you can't understand what's the matter: noone of us wish to piss off on the fanclub.....
It's the fanclub that is pissing off on us!!!!!
The official status it's not important, the people it's important!
I must tell you something that was happen in the past...
The fanclub now it's not the same of the original fanclub. I understand that from outside of Italy it appears, you know, a big entity, something great, so strange, glittering, formed by incredible executives and chairmans!
Bullshits!
When the fanclub started we were in 1997 (and I was there) and more than half staff changed during these years and more than someone built a gainful work...do you understand?...I say A WORK...capitalizing a little job in the fanclub!
I can't explain you all I know, cause there's something must be hidden, but the situation is that they don't care, they NEVER care, the web fans! And why?
Cause someone thinks he could lose a lot of power....
But the power it's not important for us in the forum: we are here to help the people.
We don't care the"power" or to be popular! I'm a journalist and I have two sons, a wife, a shop...46 years old...what do you think I have as priorities? To be a groupie??????
But we must think over some questions...
Do you know who is paying all the transfers of any fanclub's leaders on Phillip Island, or Qatar, or Shangai or on all the others track?
Valentino he is not a "charity's stock"! he pay only the last race or when he's is close to be the world champion, and he pay only the air ticket.
So, many of you, are the people who gives the money....
Ok.
Now I wish tell you that 6 years ago.
They had an urgent request by mail from England: a guy was very close to die by an acute disease and the last wish he asked was a yellow flag 46 for his burial place.
His parents, they sent for 15 days everyday a mail to the fanclub address: they known only the mail address, they were unskilled in internet and shocked.
Noone answered...cause they didn't check the mail, never, cause "internet people it's only a time waster group..."
Last two days the parents they listened about the forum (we are in 2002's forum where I was the only admin...and some friends as mods) and they wrote the request on it.
Me and one of my best friend, Ally, that lives in Tavullia but she's from England, we buy a flag quickly and we sent by express to this family...
Unfortunately the flag was received two hours in late for the funeral, .
From this moment my friend never greets anyone of the fanclub in Tavullia (she still lives there) and went outside from the Vale's fanclub immediately.
From this moment I becomed an unwanted person in Tavullia's fanclub, just a little, cause I was driven my car and after 350km very fast, I was at saturday's afternoon meeting of the fanclub.
The people I know very well, I burned them by my anger as hell's fires!
The only answer to all my questions was:"Internet it's not interesting for us..our job it's not for web's people...we are happy in this way..."
"us"..."our"...."we are happy"....but you are here for given a service to the fans! You exist for the fans and by the fans!
What a fucking way of think do you have????????
The next answer was: the destruction of the community by the deletion of the forum.
Now, 6 years after, nothing changed.
After many absurde episodes (the last about the helmet that Valentino throwed from Mugello's 2007 podium...), a user has called the fanclub by the phone and the answer she received was the same:"You're a fucking time waster as all in the forum. We don't care the forum and we don't care the admins you told us....it's better if all of you would go in the real world and not stay in front of a monitor....".
Last year we have lost Valentina. Valentina was a great fan. She died 19years old. Vale he has known Valentina and he invited her many times, at Mugello and at Momi in Pesaro. Valentina died by a genetic disease.
Her mother she wrote here a very touching message to thanks all the people here in the forum, cause the forum often was the reason to let and help Valentina fight the illness.
She never was a "time waster"........."can you listen me, stupid italian pompous idiots?"
We asked the fanclub a word in honour of Valentina by Vale. They answered that Vale can't be disturb...he didn't know that Valentina was died..he known many days after and was very touched, but too late.
So, we want show to some "shining brain" in the fanclub, that the people in the world, in 2008 A.C. is using the web, and sometimes the web is very important.
Cause never we would have the episodes I tell you.

geez... they are so nasty...
I feel very sorry for the families who tried so hard to seek help from fanclub. The fanclub should have done something at least instead of ignoring them. | | Legend | | Posts: 4,120 Join Date: 17.01.2007 Location: Sao Paulo - Brazil Age: 22

I'm not a member of the Official Fan Club... (I hope I can be one soon ), but I'll leave a post there! Like someone here said, it won't hurt!
What do they think? That only they care about Vale? That only they watch races? That we have nothing else to do instead of being all day on internet? Well, I do have but I do what I can (and what I can't) to follow Vale's races. Please, guys, give it a try!
For many Vale fans ( including me) internet is the only way to get in touch with him and now they say that we are useless? Come on, my country doesn't even broadcast MotoGP's QP sessions... and you can only watch its races if you have cable TV or buy motogp.com package (and for that you need to have a broadband conection) , so what would I do if this THC doesn't exist??? Watch only F1??? Give me a break!!!! I can be alone on this one or I cannot, so I'll give it a try! They need to knwo that we are a stong number of Vale fans!
Thanks MAK!
But only 33 posts??? Come on guys! Gi
