Angela, please don't put it in the bin - I know you have had other offers from people prepared to recycle it for you and I would like to join the queue.

Items like that which need recycling I would probably be hanging on the wall opposite where I am sitting now - think of it as extra insulation on an external wall if you must but I think it would warm me in other ways, too.

I know it must be hard, Angela, being objective about your work. I don't think you have yet shown us a painting that I didn't like though.

But... Well, I have a little "BUT" - there's smth wrong with Vale's face/ His chicks... It looks a little bit like Vale has a gumboil, dental abscess. Possibly you can do smth with that. But I really liked that picture - nice hands, the character of Dr.Costa is ideally captured. Bravo!

The Conquest

In the Land of the dragon
A script waiting to unfold
the story of quests
and mysteries untold

Prepared for battle
Prepared to fight
In uncertainity that spread before them
the uncertainity of darkness and light

So it began with the fire to guide
taking turns to reach for the glory
Knights each taking the lead
now who will be the hero of this story??

the fight was mighty
the son of the storm took lead
The red barron also tried to come forth
with the little knight also trying to succeed

then came forth a mighty knight
astride his steed mArked four and six
took the reins of the conquest
and got into the mix

the conquest raged on
for rounds of twenty two
towards the end two knights faught
but who will be true blood of blue?

with four and a half of the final step
the warrior of Italy took speed
he vanished into the horizon
on top of his steed

the Italian with the winning smile
took the challenge in his stride
won the conquest of the day
with an awesome ride

uncertainities cleared and mysteries solved
the decision to change was not wrong
against all odds and countless words
our knight proved he is strong

Actually... I'm a huge fan of impressionism, and your technique, whilst not impressionism (you know, impasto style of painting) the style is. You know, capturing a moment in time. An impression.

The lack of mutual relationship between Costa and Valentino... their positioning is almost there, but not quite. Dr Costa not looking at Valentino... and if Valentino was turned a little bit more towards him, as though for his help in this time of pain... and that is how it is... they all turn to Dr Costa when something has hit the fan... thus, it would be a moment captured in time. As it is... they sort of just look like two blokes leaving the clinica mobile.

But your accuracy and eye for detail is quite amazing.

I, too, have been thinking about poems. Well, limmericks to be exact. Mmmm.

Only one other word I could think of to rhyme with Aussie - Cozzie. SO last line could be.

About the mouth in the painting, I personally think Vale looks like he's got a hair lip or something....anyway I've had enough of messing about with it and I'm now looking for something else to paint instead. I'll put that last one down to a learning curve!

But the problem with that
It could make him too fat
So to F1 he'd go to be master!

Valentino loves to get drunk,
He can rarely count the drinks he has sunk,
Whilst pissed he celebrates,
And if no groupie, masterbates,
Then falls asleep in his bunk!
