Thanks everyone for your comments, that's why I asked for them, I am just not sure if I actually like the style of painting I was playing about with in this painting so wanted a bit of feedback from you on here. I still am not too sure about it but saying that I won't be changing this painting because my mum has taken it upon herself to stop me doing anything to it and kidnapped the painting. It's now hidden in the attic in her house so I can't change it and she knows the attic is the only place in here house I will never go into....even from a child I would never go into that attic simply because I am a rubbish climber although there is now pull down steps to get into it easier these days but still I think the place is spooky anyway so won't be going near the attic in this lifetime!
She said she will get it out for me to take to The Day of Champions next year and not until then so I can't change how I've painted it. Well if she likes it the way it is I suppose someone else will, well I'm hoping they will anyhow!!!
I'll not be trying out that style of painting again I don't think......it just looked like a kind of jigsaw puzzle to me.

Glad you finally decided on using/not using that style...

I can only get better at painting if I get feedback on what I am doing right or wrong, & whatever the feedback I always use it to my advantage and try to improve my painting by it. I hate it when people always say 'Oh it's nice' and you know only too well it's a load of rubbish....I only ask for help because I actually want that help....honesty is always the best policy in my opinion. So don't worry about any comments you give...that's what I'm actually after!!! You see I hate this sort of painting...I'm a fan of abstract art and don't like realist stuff at all really, so without people telling me what they think I wouldn't know if it was what other people would actually want to own for themselves, after all I paint most of my stuff to be sold at auction for Riders for Health's Day of Champions....& if no one likes what I'm doing then no one will buy them at the auctions.

Maybe I should have a bash at something on those lines next then???
