The crowd looks on in anticipation
The riders ready for participation
The green flag waves for the start
The rider swallows his heart
The cycle begins, like it has before
Like the knights in days of yore
Not with swords or sabres
But with pistons and rotors
But the heart of the rider is the same
As the Knights who they became.
Its the thrill of the chances
They make look like dances
Its the way we feel our heart pound
As the pilots race around
The bikes become steeds
and the crowds feed on speed
The momentum is crushing
As the moments come rushing
The riders begin to deliver
What feels like a shiver
When at last it is done
And a rider has won
There is a feeling of celebration
and the crowd looks on in anticipation

Now for some help....
I'm stuck on a painting I'm doing. It's the one that was auctioned at the Day of Champions, you know for the winning bidder to have a photo taken with Valentino and then for me to paint it. Well I'm stuck already.
I think that Vale is looking a little on the chubby side (his face) in it and there's something wrong with the mouth and left eye. The painting's not nearly finished yet, so don't worry about the hair, sunglasses clothes or background etc...they're just sketched in for now as a guide for when I paint them properly, but does the face need thinning and the eye and mouth sorting out .... am I right with this or is it something else that's making it look wrong?
I need fresh eyes to point out the mistakes to me. & don't just hold back with the comments thinking you're being mean pointing out the problems 'cos that's what I need....the wrong areas made obvious to me so I can fix them up and make it right!
The person who this painting is for has paid a lot of money for it and I'm sure he would want it to be done right.....so no holds bared, what's wrong with it? PLEASE!!!

Shoot me but I can see Lewis Hamilton and a bit of Ronaldo there..

Might be the teeth..? Jaw line? The neck?

the eyebrow on the left, his left is shaped oddly, the shape of the face looks fine to me, with the shorn locks his face looks fatter....i think the teeth look different, too white maybe? i dont know for sure but something looks off... still much better than i could ever do

and btw, i went thru more of this thread and oh my gawd your paintings are unbelievable
