I agree that the items should be with us before the start of the race season kicks off also but to be fair, the fan club staff aren't the ones at fault here. They've been let down by the supplier, so have their hands tied and can only ship stuff out when they get them themselves.

Who knows it might just be worth the wait? We might get really brilliant caps this time (although they're really good each year anyway) but if they have taken so long to get them made up it might be because they are super smashing ones!!! (we can only hope anyway!)

& fingers crossed with the first 500 renewed memberships at getting that personally signed flag that has been mentioned. I just hope I'm one of them! No, me, my son and Ray are all in the first 500!!!! How cool would that be!!! 3 signed flags!!! - well, I can but dream, at least until the stuff arrives and I rip the envelope open to see what's inside!!

@ Mel, I rip open Ray's and Austin's envelopes too....have to make sure they didn't get something that I never & if they did they'd never know about it because it would have been transferred into my envelope before they got in from school/work! (& don't say I'm not doing anything non of you wouldn't do in the same position either!!!!)

You have hit the nail on the head there - I suppose we should consider ourselves lucky that anything at all happens at all.

I know there are some women there but I suppose they like to let the men feel that they are in charge so the women just sit back and watch while the men make a real hash of things and then step in and make it all right again. Us women all know what fun it is to do that!

I've been globe-trotting around the forum again (started off doing my italian homework, went to look something up in the Italian room and got badly side-tracked!!)
Anyway, my idle browsing has been worthwhile as I found this in the German Room.
Rietzer had queried what was happening with the fan club stuff which we had originally been told would be sent out at the end of March... this is the reply she received:
Hello andrè,
we'll start to sent the gadgets next week because we'll receive the hats next 29 April.....so in 15 days, more or less, I think you'll have the gadgets.....thank you very much.....bye bye

This suggests just a little longer to wait if they do not even receive the hats until tomorrow. And then a couple of weeks, so we could realistically be looking at 2 - 3 weeks before we get out stuff.

Never mind, I am sure it will be worth the wait.
